[ I purchased my Instinct a few months ago. After a software update my motor works flawlessly. I have had two Ultera motors and both failed after a year or two. I have it on a 19 ’ Carolina Skiff with 24 volt system. The spot lock is great and the motor deploys and stows quickly. 👍

[ Upgraded my boat and needed to upgrade my trolling motor. I was looking for a unit priced well that still has all the features. My last boat had a Terrova and it always worked without issue so I decided to go for another. Love all the features and third party accessories available. While the included remote is feature rich, it was too big for my liking. A quick search resulted in the availability of a micro remote. I now have two remotes I use simultaneously, the original for my passenger, and the micro for myself. Seems like they either listen to customers or personally use these products themselves. I see 15- 20 year old boats still rocking their original Minn Kota. That's a good indication of longevity.

[ I can ’ t find anything bad to say about my Ultrex. After living with the Edge 45 for two years this is like going to a Cadillac. The thrust is awesome and the control is just spot on. Then add in the spot lock, I can pull in between two docks, spot lock and fish both docks fully. It was semi easy to install but only because I had never done one. Great product and such a Great tool for my boat.

Has so many features I was stunned the spot lock is awesome, it doesn ’ t move more than 3 ft when the wind blows really hard and it Corrects its self, My Hummingbird Helix 10 hooks right up follows contours goes to way points, runs continuously so I re tie my lines. [ Upgraded from a Ultrex without link, wanted the auto stow and deploy and to get my one boat network set up. I was worried about the lag in the steering coming from a Ultrex, but have been pleasantly surprised. Move was a good one for me.

[ I had the Terrova previously and it was amazing, BUT, then I had the chance to run my buddys Ulterra one afternoon and I was hooked. But I had to one up him so I opted for the Quest brushless model. Absoultely amazing is all I can say. Its an Ulterra on steroids for lack of a better term. I have ran it for 3 days before charging and the power noticeably better. Mega down, mega side are a must have and amazing to say the least. I think I am a pretty decent fisherman, but now that I have added the equipment the guys always want jump in with me. Amazing amazing amazing if I could rate it 10 stars I would.
