I bought the Blue Tees Ringer a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to use it. Overall it is fairly easy to use. I really did n't read the directions and it still did just about everything I needed it to. [ To begin, I have the navigational ability of a drunk 10 year old. After getting a little too turned around in the BWCA on my last trip I decided I prefer my canoe adventures without heckling from wife and we settled on purchasing this bad boy! Easy to use and durable. Battery life is a big plus too as I had this thing on and open most of the time on all of our paddles across big water. It gave me the peace of mind I needed by making it virtually impossible to get lost out there. The Garmin BWCA overlay maps are totally worth it too if you are thinking about it. Going places is easy, knowing where they are is hard. 11/10 would buy again.

PhilAK
[ I bought this as an upgrade from a etrex 20. Mostly used for geocaching and backpacking it does the job extremely well. It plays well with Expert GPS.
5
Salt Boy
[ I bought the eTrex 32x last month. I especially like the 'tracks' feature where I can see exactly the path I have just traveled. This feature has been really helpful on BLM land where their might be many crisscrossing off road dirt paths. Finding the correct ones that you took previously is critical. The tracks feature makes it easy. This GPS is also super accurate. In my initial test I took it on a walk with my dog. Looking back at the tracks I could see where I walked on the sidewalk vs. on the road vs the other side of the road( single lane road). Overall a great little GPS. The only downside is that the screen seems a little small, but that is what you get when you purchase a small unit for outdoor use.

david
[ So far, this little unit seems like a great item. Battery life appears good so far, and it has preloaded maps that will work for most. Once I got used to the programs to make maps, paths and such.. I was able to put together a very good set up for an up coming trip. The bad or expected if you already know about GPS's. They are built on like a decade's old tech and they function like a flip phone. These day's most people have their phone on them and generally it works better if you have planned ahead to throw on a ton of downloaded maps, have a ruggedized case and super long battery life. I personally bought this because on a recent trip, we got a bit off of the map we had. We had a general idea where we were going but I had to try to bring up my phone a few times to get maps and positioning. It was lucky that we were on a hill in a bald so I could get signal at all. long story short, my phone battery took a hit and we got lucky that we were able to find the appropriate maps and got back on course. This light weight device will allow me to get my position, look at local trails and measure distance. That's worth the money and the weight.

I do a lot of fishing in an area that has no cell service. I have several health problems, and my wife has a valid concern as to where I 'm at and how to get to me if something happens. This device does exactly that. I 'm able to let her track me and let her know exactly where I 'm at in case of an emergency. I 'm also able to add each of my kids to the contact list so that they also where know where I 'm located.

I bought this for a 6 day backpacking trip through a dangerous trail. My friends and family were very concerned that I was going alone. Having this device allowed me to stay in touch and let everyone know I was ok. I also used the emergency SOS to get a fellow hiker rescued. I was grateful to be able to help assist and the process was smooth and quick to get connected to local services and get him picked up by helicopter. I 'll be taking this with me whenever I go adventuring with no cell service! It held a charge well and using the app makes it so easy to use!

I bought this as I hike alone a lot in Canyonlands in S. Utah and the Uintas where there is no cell service. The SOS feature is a very reassuring, even though I hope I never need it use it. The best part is being able to text my family of my whereabouts and status.

Katie V
I got this GPS for my fiancé before he left to do a LASH of the NCT. It allows me to see his progress, plan resupply drops, gives me peace of mind knowing that he has SOS capabilities. So far the only downside is the tiny screen, but that was a willing sacrifice to keep his pack weight down.

I 've been using my Instinct E for about a month and so far, so good! Its predecessor, a Forerunner 45, served me well for about five years, but it was getting difficult to charge( I think it was the contact points, but not really sure). I bought this watch having come from the original Instinct that I ’ ve had since 2018. It ’s been a great watch. I like that it has the connect IQ to change watches faces. It is also a sharper display. The E has all the features I need. Most of the general population that buys these are not doing extreme hiking or marathons and therefore the E has enough for the gen pop. What I think they dropped the ball on is still having a two week battery. It ’s the same battery life as my original instinct. They cheaped out on that. It ’s should be at least a month battery. The only other “ like ” I would want is to have the torch( flash light) on this one. Outside of that. I really like the watch.

While I 've only had three opportunities to fish with this locator since I 've purchased it, it seems to perform very well. I particularly like the clarity of the screens and the split screen option. The clarity on the flasher screen is so much better than a traditional flasher unit. It does have great separation capabilities. The lure charge function is really handy. Especially after my buddy dropped his lure charging flash light down the hole! I also like the automatic transducer angle selection of the unit. I must admit I would like an even wider transducer angle for shallow water applications. I do still have much to learn about this product. Bought this to use on the ice and on open water from a boat. I work for a marina and have multiple boats I can use it on. The portable kit for$ 100 is excellent. The picture and features on this model are superb. Far better than other brands I have used. I would highly recommend this!

The Helix 7 with GPS, Mega down imaging, and Mega side imaging has been a phenomenal addition to my kayak fishing. I no longer feel like I am fishing blindly in the winter when the fish go deep. The `` Mega '' provides extremely detailed views of submerged structure, bottom composition, vegetation, and identify fish well beyond what I imagined possible with this unit. The included Humminbird Basemaps have helped me navigate some of the larger lakes, and the autochart live feature has enabled me to create my own maps of the smaller local lakes I fish. Installation was pretty straightforward. The Helix 7 user interface is friendly. There are numerous videos on YouTube to help you install the Helix 7, navigate the menus and I interpret the maps.

This rangefinder gives me everything I need on the course from distance to on course obstacles to precise distances to the pin. It has really help me to be more concise on my approach shots and closer to the hole means fewer putts.
5
John Z
Best Golf GPS/Laser Rangefinder on the Market. Since it uses a digital camera, you do n't have any of the difficulty with finding the range of the pin due to your shakiness. Plus with the combination of having he GPS overlay, you have the best of both worlds. I wo n't use any other product.
5
Tony E
Awesome rangefinder. Battery last about 4 rounds before I need to recharge.
5
This thing allows me to plan shots like never before. The additional information overlay on the map allows for a much more informed club choice. I have had no hiccups so far. Out side of a massive mis hit into another fairway, the z80 knows what hole you are on and provides accurate yardage. We have tested the yardage against other range finders and course yardage markers along with known club choice distance. it is dead on.
5
jvargas18
Have only been using this for a few rounds. Nothing like I have used before. Complete layout of each hole, elevation, a blind pin feature, lay- up measurements and measurements of each green. The learning curve gets easier and easier with each use. A bit on the expensive side but with all the features I believe it is justified considering some rangefinders, without all Z80's features, are just as expensive. I would definitely recommend the Approach Z80.

I bought a Garmin Z82 a couple of years ago and have really enjoyed the rangefinder. One troubling issue has been the inability of the rangefinder to link with Android phones for more than 15 minutes, rendering the advanced wind reporting functions useless. They recently came out with software upgrades that seem to fix the issue. Love the unit and all features now work. Would definitely recommend the rangefinder- great display and excellent features.

This is my first ever Garmin Watch. So far I am incredibly impressed! It is so nice I am hesitant to get it dirty and am afraid to scratch it. However, it is incredibly durable and I am amazed at how accurate the rep count is and how comfortable the watch is. There is so much customization and features available! I know I will never be able to utilize up to 10 percent of the watches' potential but I will certainly try and continue to build myself with it.

My 1030 plus decided took on water on a wet ride and had to be replaced. I got the Edge 1040 thinking it would be very similar and did not expect much difference. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements in the unit. First thing I noticed were the icons on the data screens that make it easier to find things like elevation, grade, gears, and next turn direction( see first two screen shots). Probably the best improvement is in the Climb Pro screen( screen shot 3). Climbs are automatically detected based on the road you are riding( previously climbs just showed up on preloaded routes). The climb pro screen now shows you the map along with the graph. Includes the grade you are currently at and remaining distance, grade and altitude gain left in the climb. Nice feature! I like how the meter pairs with Di2 shifters as seen on the last screen shot.

[ Extremely useful for such a minimalist design with a robust battery life. Lightweight, low profile yet it has an incredible battery life with pinpoint GNSS accuracy delivered by a chipset that supports dual band satellite fixes. The Coros app by far is the best making route building and reviewing post work metrics easier than ever. Additionally, app doubles as either an interactive topo map during activities like hiking or trail running, but on indoor activities like spinning or treadmill running the app becomes real- time stat screen that is customizable by the user. The generation of Coros watches: Pace 3 and Pace Pro really deliver substantive features that are insightful to improving and refrains from producing questionable gimmicks like “ wellness ” metrics that have never been validated by a third party or university researchers. Plus Coros( and Apple) are probably the only company( ies) that are delivering routine updates& upgrades to their previous gen devices so you are not constantly compelled to buy the latest generation. Plus Coros releases model of a series every 3 years.
