I bought these for my fiance( 42 male) because he wanted weightlifting gloves that were not fingerless and these were the only ones I could find, he absolutely loves them. All the padding is in the perfect places, including in each knuckle of each finger, and there are touchscreen pads on the thumb and forefinger. He normally wears a M in other gloves but wanted them to be a little tighter, so I ordered a S and they fit perfectly. He's only had them for about 2 months but they get almost daily use and are holding up well so far.

I lift weights a few days a week. Wearing gloves to protect the ligaments is a good idea. After some time without using gloves I will feel some pain in the fingers. I normally use gloves with the half finger which works great. I bought these full finger gloves to see how I liked them. After a few workouts they fit well and I think they prevent any damage to the ligaments. These are good gloves but I still prefer the half finger gloves because I still have more feeling and control of the fingers.

I was a bit concerned about sizing. I measured at the high end for medium but decided not to go for a large because I 'd rather have them be a bit snug. I 'm glad I got the medium because the large would have been too large in the fingers. As for the wrist strap, I have pretty small wrists but there was no way I was getting these to close all the way, and partially closed the velcro rubbed against my skin. I just tucked the loose bit under and problem solved, no rubbing, and because it was snug to begin with it stayed in place. I definitely think these will keep my hands from getting torn up as I advance to heavier weights( which is why I got them to begin with). They washed well( in a mesh bag on delicate cycle) but I think I 'll turn them inside out next time because there were a lot of loose little black threads that came off on my hands after the first use( probably just cause they 're new). They seem like they 'll hold up one time but it's too soon to tell.

I have used these gloves for lifting whites with dumbbells and barbells while also using them to help protect my hands for pull- ups and extended minutes on the rowing machine. Wow these are really great for a few reasons. There is a lot of padding where it should be on your hands and fingers. Nice quality leather on the palms and stretchy nylon on the back. The only thing is these do run small, size up one size.

These gloves were given to my wife who is an avid bicycle rider. They are very comfortable, and the padding, while not meant for bike riding, makes the bike riding experience even better. They will definitely help mitigate potential blisters and callouses resulting from lifting weights or bike riding and we would recommend them to anyone looking to do either of those activities. The open finger- holes is also good for these highly strenuous activities as the gloves will protect while also keeping your hands cool and limiting the amount of sweat that will be generated. [ I have only used these once for a sport climbing trip outside of Austin. I 'm 6' 5 '', but do n't have enormous hands and found my size large gloves pretty snug. I do n't discount the snug fit, but I think it will take a few wears for the gloves to fit just right. The carabiner hole is also pretty useful and I look forward to wearing these gloves more.

I have loved using the Women ’s Hera weight lifting gloves. I used to get terrible blisters on my hands from either heavy weights or coarse barbels/pull up bars. With the use of these gloves, I have seen an improvement on my grip and less blistering of my palms! I always thought I had relatively smaller hands, but my fingers are thicker, and the size large gloves fit me great. I work recommend these gloves. The Velcro strap made them fit perfectly to my hands and the material was breathable.
