There is a small disk you have to take out of the flashlight before use. There are several different mode that you can use. There is also a strobe function. The head twists up so you can use it for small spaces or large area areas as seen in my video and pictures. It is 10, 000 lumens so it is super bright! I 'd heard of Nebo tools on a Christian radio station, but never used any. I needed a new flashlight, and was wandering through a sporting goods store and stumbled across the flashlight section. [ This thing SAVED on my last move. Packing my U- Haul took longer than expected, so it went into dark. The fact this thing is magnetic and has spot OR flood is huge. I was able to stick it to the U- Haul and had plenty of light to pack the entire truck for multiple hours on one charge. The spotlight isn ’ t kidding when it talks about its distance, I can light up the house at the end of the block and then some. It ’s nice it also has a low red light so you don ’ t have to obliterate your night vision if you need just a little light. The switch on the back allows you to change modes without even turning it on, and the pocket catch allows you to hang it off your pants while you work if you don ’ t need it. I ’ m very surprised at some of these bad reviews! I own both the 1500 and 2000 Nebo Davinci flashlights and they are incredible. Best flashlights I have ever owned. I personally prefer the 1500 because of its size. It ’s super small and lightweight and for its size it puts out an insane amount of light with great control and throw. The 2000 is a bit bigger, and even though it does produce more light, the 1500 seems to have the best size to light ratio- so that ’s my recommendation, for what it ’s worth. They are easy to charge( with usb c; hurray!!) and without having to take the battery all the way out. I ’ ve never had any issues with them after getting wet or dropping them, which I ’ ve unfortunately done quite a bit. After many many comparisons, these are the absolute best so far. Hope this helps!

I ’ ve always been a bit of a flashlight guy. As a kid I cost my dad a small fortune in D cells running down his baseball bat sized Maglite. I ’ ve been through more headlamps than I can count over the years. I picked up this particular one a few months ago and I have to say it has been by far the best headlamp I ’ ve ever had. The door fuel capability comes in handy, and the functions on this light are super useful and navigable. It ’s great to having the brightness memory as well as the powertap feature to be able to instantly switch to max and back. One feature that stands out is the way each mode dims/brightens. I haven ’ t seen that on a light before. It also seems a lot brighter than 450 lumens at max. If you ’ re looking for a good reliable headlamp I truly don ’ t think in any way you could go wrong with these. Hope this helps

[ When I first saw this headlamp, I was a little confused at why the front was so small( I am used to a decent sized headlamp at the front) but they made it to where all of the weight is on the rear of the headstrap so that the headlamp doesnt leave a HUGE imprint on your head after you take it off. There are 4 brightness levels including a red light mode as well to help with bugs while being outside. Overall I highly recommend this! I used it to find some tools in my tool chest at night. It ’s definitely on the expensive side, and the extra battery I purchased wasn ’ t cheap either. However, since I use a headlamp frequently, having a spare battery allows me to swap them out without downtime. The variable brightnesses on the Moji means that I can have the lantern on all nights if needed. They are lite weight, very durable and dependable. I bought my first ones many years ago, and just bought two more, the old ones are in service to date still. The attached hanging system can attach to almost anything. They can face down or up, they are worth the investment and will give many years of service.
