Love it, used to own a small nonrechargeable version a few years ago as a corrections officer. This flashlight is awesome when I&# x27; m out helping look for my cousin&# x27;s dogs at night, it&# x27; ll be amazing if I ever get stranded, I use it as a small baton if needed, a door knocker, or just use it as a flashlight which is all in using it for at the moment but you never know. I really like the option of having rechargeable and AAA. A bit more slim then prior model, strap is also a little more slim. Not sure if I like the more slim strap but seems to compliment the unit as the unit is more slim and lighter. You can tell the brightness difference from the prior 400 model. I 've had a Columbia 150 lumen pocket light and I 've been blown away with the quality of that light, so I purchased the Davinci 5000L.
