Amazing ball for the price. This is my first time playing a urethane ball regularly, used to play Vice Tour. I immediately noticed the difference on approach shots and greenside. The stopping power is unreal. I even spun one back from a greenside bunker. My scores are lower because I can attack pins and rely on the ball stopping instead of rolling 10- 20 feet past.

I have now played the new version of this ball for 6 rounds and I 've been playing Tour X for 4 years. This new ball feels about the same on long shots( firm), but noticeable softer pitches, chips and especially putts. I am a senior golfer with moderate clubhead speed( 95 to 99 mph). This ball is not supposed to be for my swing speed, but it just goes longer for me. I shoot the same scores with this ball as a Pro- V1. I highly recommend this ball.

I got these in yesterday and instantly went to the course. This is by far the straightest ball of the tee I have ever hit. Pretty much instantly got rid of a big slice or pull. If you are like me and swing pretty hard with your driver but have trouble hitting the fairways, this is the go to ball for you. With the higher compression, it makes it easier to hit it a lot further off the tee. It is also super easy to align on the greens with new alignment aid. The spin was above average I would say, I held greens pretty easily with full wedge shots. Overall this ball is a must buy if you want something cheap and lose a lot of balls.

It was a great deal for these golf balls. They perform similar to Titleist Pro V1s which in some ways are the standard quality golf ball in the industry. I recently purchased the Callaway Chrome Soft golf balls from Golf Galaxy, and I ’ ve really enjoyed playing with them. The feel of these balls is amazing, especially around the greens, where they provide excellent feedback and control. They also feel great off the putter, which is a big plus for me. While I didn ’ t notice significant improvements in distance compared to other golf balls I ’ ve used, the Chrome Soft delivers on its promise of low spin and consistent performance. It ’s comparable to the TaylorMade Tour Response in terms of feel, but I felt the Chrome Soft had slightly lower spin and equally solid driving distance.

I would n't have believed it in a million years had it not just happened to me today. My son and his friend play this ball and they are always 50 yards ahead of me. Granted, I 'm a 50 year old Marine vet, with back issues, but I can still rip it out there between 280- 300 yards. I 've been playing a popular DTC brand golf ball and thought I would give these Chrome Tours a try, since it was buy 3 get 1 free, and I get the military discount. I got to play them today and OMG I will NEVER play another ball again. I really ca n't believe what a difference these made. My drives were going 335 yards today, into the wind, and even got one 385 yards with the wind. I had to club down by almost 2 clubs with all my irons. It took me half a round to get used to the new distance and trust it. I ended up shooting par on the back 9 and now I 'm driving the ball right there with my 27 year old son and his friend. I switched from the ProV1X to the Chrome Tour this winter and spring. Definitely noticed there is less spin on my drives, allowing for more consistency and distance. Even better when playing in windy conditions. The Chrome Tours still provides plenty of spin coming onto the greens. I like the fact that when playing from tight lies, the Tours back up generally 5ft to 10ft vs 10ft to 20ft with the ProV1X. The Tours fit my game best!

Honestly, this is my all time favorite golf ball. The Chrome Tour golf ball is a real game- changer. First off, the distance is amazing. Whether I 'm using a driver or my longer irons, it seems to just fly – consistently long, with a nice, piercing ball flight that cuts through the wind. I ’ ve noticed extra yards off the tee, and I can count on a solid roll when it hits the fairway. Also, this ball spins a lot on short irons into the green. The workability is another highlight. The ball feels responsive, and I can shape my shots with ease. Whether I ’ m trying to hit a fade or a draw, I have full control. It just feels great in my hands, especially when I 'm making those more touchy shots under pressure. But what really impresses me is the short game spin. Around the greens, it ’s fantastic. I can get my chips and pitches to check up quickly, even on firmer greens. The ball just grabs and holds, which gives me a ton of confidence when I ’ m trying to stop a wedge shot close to the hole. Glad I did, the Chrome Tour X has been a great ball for me thus far( 8 rounds). Great feel off the putter and spins well around the green. Approach shots have been great with the ability to shape the shot. Ball flight is also to my preference hitting the window I like to give me confidence in my shot. Off the tee the ball has great distance. So far I have had a great experience with the new Chrome Tour X; out of bunkers I haven ’ t noted any more scuffs as compared to the ProV1x. I bought these a month ago. Once in awhile I treat myself to a pro ball. I usually play less expensive golf balls because of price, my 76 mph swing speed and I lose them too often. Also I was not sure I was good enough to play Titleist ProV1x. But I was really surprised. They are long, straight and bright yellow. I play twice a week and only lost one in a month. I picked up a sleeve of these to try along with a dozen of the Chrome Soft X. Im 53 and my swing speed has come down from 111 to 100 with the driver. I was expecting the CS X to be a better fit for me because of the lower clubhead speed, thinking I would need the extra spin and higher flight. However, the LS version blew me away. Unbelievable driver distance and extremely straight ball flight. I typically hit a draw that has recently turned into more hooks off the tee at times. I ’ m getting my timing back with the change in clubhead speed and this ball has helped with that because I know when I hit it it ’s going straight where I aim. Confidence inspiring, and it checks up much better than the CS X. Feel is solid off the putter and distance control is much better. I believe Callaway built this ball specifically for higher spin players like myself who don ’ t like to work the ball much and need extra distance off the tee. It ’s sad it ’s discontinued. I have several dozen to get me through this season and possibly next season tho. I get technology changing and ball development evolving but I truly believe Callaway should make this ball a staple in their lineup. Highly recommend you try this ball if you struggle with too much spin, especially with the driver.

I went with this ball after the My Golf Spy write up on it. I 've been really surprised from tee to green on how this ball reacts off the club face. It's definitely comparable to the top 3 ball brands out there and at a better price. It's not too clicky off the wedge or putter either. But it's firm enough to give you feedback on your strike. The only downside to the Matte is it stauns and scuffs easier than the Gloss version. This will be my ball going forward.
