Set scene: Christmas morning, stockings stuffed- yes, by the chimney with care. And I hoped that SmartWool socks would tucked in there. They were!( I knew this ahead because I bought them myself.) I tore open the packaging and immediately dashed them on. There's nothing like the buttery feel of new cotton blend on the tops of my feet. They hit the perfect mark on the ankle, not too high to make them itchy but call enough to cover the ankle bone for some winter running. Does n't get much better than this.

Our daughter likes the adidas brand as they are easier to put on than other brands that her team requires. These are also more durable than the other brands. The other brands snag easily and had holes after a couple of practices. Will be using these as much as we can and only use the other brand when the referee requires we have the uniform socks.
