[ This is exactly what I need and was expecting for a lightweight, sturdy backpacking mug. The collapsible handles are perfect for consolidating and can be stuffed with socks, etc. to take up even less space and protect it. It's extremely durable and light weight. I generally cram it in to a side opening on my backpack with something inside it. It will bend a little if you crush is, but a little squeeze on the elongated side and it's like new again. It cleans easily and does n't retain odors. I 've yet to have is stain or scratch. Overall a solid product. If you do n't mind spending a few extra dollars on the Snow Peak brand, it's worth the money, otherwise there are several more cost effective brands that make a similar mug.
