I use this heater with a large 4 man shanty and it keeps it heated. First trip out this year was in sub- zero weather and we stayed warm all day long. One small tank of propane lasts about 3- 4 hrs on low setting. The only time I ’ ve used medium setting is to cook and have never used the high setting. I highly recommend for the fisherman who likes to travel light.

[ It's hunting season here in Texas, but we use this for camping as well. In this part of the country, we can still camp outdoors well into October, November and even December. This portable heater is the perfect size to take along to whatever outdoor activity we 're up to, whether it be hunting in the early morning in our deer blind, or camping in the backyard with the kids. It does n't take up too much space, does n't make a ton of noise, and keeps us warm in the space we 're using it in. Easy to use and portable/light enough to carry around and pack easily. [ I have yet to use the Hunting Buddy on a hunting trip, these days because of the Pandemic no one is really going any where. But I have used at my job site at houses/ building that are under construction and usually have no electricity. This heater has been my saving grace, as I am constantly moving from place to place within a site. The portability and size of this heater is more than ideal for me. It is pretty quite and produced enough heat for may to stay warm. I brought a second 1lb propane canister and was good for the day around 7 hrs. The tip over safety shut off is a great feature, and I am sure once I am able to get out there an go hunting the Oxygen Depletion Sensor shut off will give us piece of my that we are safe! A little bit of a hiccup at trying to start it. Once I opened booklet on how to start it it was excellent. Heat Hog Rules when you 're in need of heat Performance is Great so far. Do n't know yet on how long fuel uses. Experimenting on hose adapter I purchased as well. I got 1- Gallon plus bought a 30lb tank. Ca n't wait too hook up heat Hog to 30llb bought. After purchasing, I read a lot of reviews starting the ignitor did n't work. I do not have that problem. Mine has worked perfectly with no issues. I used it constantly for a week when temps were in the teens.

[ This little heater really packs a wallop. Once you connect your propane tank it is extremely easy to light and use. It warms up really quickly and radiates everywhere. It ’s lightweight so it's easy to carry around and maneuver in and out of your vehicle. There is a little storage space which I can store some gloves or a mask but that is about it. The storage space is pretty tight. The only drawback is that if you use it indoors you will set off your fire alarms rather quickly.

[ This product is a great way for quick and reliable heat. We used it on one of our first snow up here, and it lasts quite a while! It helped to heat our small garage quickly. We want to look into getting the hose connector for a larger tank for prolonged usage. The small bottles lasted us about an hour on high. I definitely recommend for a quick and warm solution within a smaller area. We want to bring it out camping next time we go!
