I got this one because I am worry having the parts that I put my mouth on exposed to the outside environment. I considered the quencher flip straw, but the top of the straw is still exposed when folded down. I also worry about mold gathering in the crevices. I love this coffee mug! The only bad thing is that it does n't fit under my Keurig. Not a big deal, I just brew it into a different mug and pour it in. All my other mugs have gotten their shapes warped in the dishwasher( to where the lids do n't close properly), or that nasty peeling paint. Not this one!
