Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. They are a bit big and run wide especially in the heel area, and I probably could ’ ve gotten away with an 8. I kept them because I ’ d rather be able to wear thick socks and not have anything start to rub my feet uncomfortably after a while.
