Through a previous job I purchased the `` Hammer '' style boots and loved them enough that now that it's my own money, I would n't spend it on anything but these boots! After a 14 hour day on my feet I was in no hurry to get them off when I got home. To me that says a mouthful, not to mention all the times I put these boots to the test( accidental of course) and and I remain in tact and never a foot injury with this boot. I 'm purchasing my 8th pair over 20 years and I 'll be back when it's time again.

I work in a coal yard and never owned metatarsal boots before. So I bought a pair of red wings and these. These boots hands down are 10x better. They are light and the most comfortable boot I have owned in a long time. I will definitely be purchasing a second pair!!

i have had these boots about 3 years and the sole is about worn out now. they are extremely comfortable and do n't need much breaking in at all. Went and tried out some new boots today and mine still feel better. love these boots and will buy another pair. the one issue is that the sole is in layers and it does tend to flake off towards the end of their lifespan. amazing pair of boots and you will not be disappointed.

I work in a steel warehouse for a ten hours a day and comfort is a must for me. I have been wearing these boots for the past five months and since day these boots have been the most comfortable boots ever. The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before. These boots have been through mud, snow, ice and I have had no problems with traction or warmth. I have had a 800+ pound hot rolled steel bar( scaled from the foundry and roughed outside covering) fall and give a glancing blow to my left heel and there wasn ’ t any marks on the heel of the boot. I could not be happier with these boots and while be buying another pair, please don not discontinue these boots ever.

Boots are very comfortable. Little to no break in time. They have a great arch support for when your standing for long hours. I have had them for a couple have held up through rain, mud, dust, dirt, snow. They are water proof. My feet we ’ re slightly damp standing in torrential down pours for my job but after what I was in I doubt any boot is that waterproof…. They are starting to wear out though. I mean I do put them through rough stuff but I don ’ t expect these to last 6 months in the toughest of conditions.

Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They 've been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch. I 've ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.
An internal metatarsal guard is a protective feature built into work boots that shields the metatarsal bones on the top of the foot from impact and compression. This is particularly important in environments where heavy objects may fall or where there is a risk of foot injuries. By providing this additional layer of protection, these boots help to enhance safety and reduce the risk of injury during demanding work conditions.
Internal metatarsal guard boots are typically made from durable materials such as leather, synthetic fabrics, and rubber. These materials not only provide strength and protection but also contribute to the overall comfort and flexibility of the boots. Additionally, many boots incorporate waterproofing technologies to keep feet dry in various working conditions.
Internal metatarsal guard boots are suitable for a variety of work environments, particularly those that involve heavy lifting, construction, manufacturing, and warehousing. They are designed to protect against falling objects, sharp tools, and other hazards commonly found in these settings. Their robust construction makes them ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, especially in rugged conditions.
Choosing the right size for internal metatarsal guard boots involves measuring your foot length and width accurately. It's important to try on boots with the socks you plan to wear, as this can affect fit. Additionally, consider the boot's design and whether it allows for adequate toe space and comfort, especially if you will be on your feet for long periods.
Many internal metatarsal guard boots are designed with comfort in mind, featuring cushioned insoles and ergonomic designs to support prolonged wear. However, comfort can vary based on individual foot shape and the specific boot construction. It's advisable to look for boots that offer good arch support and breathable materials to enhance comfort during long hours of use.
The primary difference between internal and external metatarsal guards is their placement and design. Internal guards are built into the boot, providing a streamlined look and potentially better flexibility, while external guards are added on the outside, offering visible protection. Each type has its advantages, and the choice often depends on personal preference and specific job requirements.
