I got these 2 years ago and yesterday I was at the beach with my wife. I wore these boots to the Santa Monica beach in CA. Before you ask, I hate sandals and shorts, I will not wear them. As I walked with my wife by the shore, I avoided the waves because I did not want my boots to get wet. Well, my wife was enjoying the ocean water when she thought it would be funny to hold me in place as the wave hit my boots. They got wet and submerged to about the 6 '' mark. My feet were dry. I was confused and surprised, they did not let any ocean water in at all. So I figured, why not and I pushed it further, with about 3 second intervals of waves, they survived. Until the water went above the 8 inch height and then my socks got wet, which is understandable. So I wanted to write a review because it deserved a review because it did a great job preventing water from getting in. It was kind of fun to be honest but the salt is not great afterwards.

The first day I wore here boots for my full shift without problems and these boots felt like they had been worked in for months before. I have had a 800+ pound hot rolled steel bar( scaled from the foundry and roughed outside covering) fall and give a glancing blow to my left heel and there wasn ’ t any marks on the heel of the boot. I had a pair of Carhartt boots prior to these and the carhartts only lasted 6 months. I 've had these Timberland Pro's for almost 3 years now. They break in fast, comfortable to walk in all day. They 're really warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. Very good water proofing. Slip resistant is very good for oils, hydraulic fluid, fuel, aircraft de- ice fluid. There are only 2 complaints I have; the oem laces are complete trash and so are the oem insoles. The soles lasted me only 8 months and laces tore in like 6 months. Buy better insoles and Kevlar laces. I 've dropped parts& tools on my foot and did n't feel a thing. These are also really good boots for welding and using cutting torches. 10/10 must have boot for mechanics. UPDATE 7/20/24: the boots are STILL GOOD AFTER 4 YEARS of daily abuse in all climates and conditions. These are the only work boots I will buy the rest of my life. UPDATE 11/23/24: The boots lost their waterproofing. Ordered a new pair. I will forever only buy these Timberland Boondock boots!!

I 've had this boot for 2 weeks and it has held up well with hourly patrols which total around 15, 000- 20, 000 steps a day. Pair it with compression socks or nicely padded merino wool socks and you wo n't have any foot pain at all. Worth the money, for me they lasted little over than a year but I work 12 hour shifts between 40- 60 hrs a week in a recycling plant in AZ and we are exposed to kinda harsh conditions daily( dry/dusty areas and wet areas with puddles too), not too mention the +100 degree summer temps we get so they worked fine for me. Carhartt got rid of these for quite some time and I was forced to go to another company to replace my work boots which sucked, happy to see these are back up. I have already bought these 4- 5 times, union outdoor electrician with very few options as a woman in the field. I bought these boots in 2021 and 2 years later they are still in good shape. I wear these for work, hiking, and just out and about and they are comfortable and lightweight for safety boots. They need to be broken in for at least several days in the beginning and any time you go a few weeks without wearing them. The only noticeable wear is the sides have weakened out a little and fold slightly and the rubber traction on the bottom is wearing out after lots of time on gravel roads and rough terrain. One downside is they are not waterproof do have water seep in if you are hosing them down or stepping through deep enough water, so I wear different boots for that. The photos are what they look like after 2 YEARS of constant wear and tear on a construction site.

I bought these boots after I bought a pair of ariats that after 2 months had already started to break down and cut into my foot. Needless to say I returned them and went with this boot. It's comfortable, waterproof which is a must since I 'm a new construction electrician and the electrical hazard safety was a plus. I did n't know what to expect but after 3 years of daily use it was finally time to replace them but if I had too, I could have pushed them even longer. I did n't keep them oiled as I should have so the leather was finally drying out. I replaced with the same boot just different style. Once you find something that works, you have to stay with it. The side by side pictures you 're able to see the wear they take over 1000 days of daily use, even use outside of work. My daily wear boot. Work and play.

I bought these boots 4 years ago and they held up very well against all the abuse I put them through working at a lumberyard. The insoles are like walking on clouds, the boots never let water in, and the toe let's you get a pretty good kick in on whatever piece of lumber is n't going quite where it should be. I bought these for work, but they eventually just became my go to shoes because of how comfortable they are. I wore them everywhere, work, the grocery store, dates with the wife, you name it, those boots were there. The only reason I got rid of them was because the bottom sole tore itself off of the rest of the boot. I guess all good thing do have to come to an end eventually... Overall, very very nice boots, I recommend them to everyone that asks.

Had these for over a year now and there are a lot of hard hours on them. They are still my go to but the tread is almost gone, but still plenty of traction. Initially I purchased them just for work but I like them so much they are all I wear. I have to admit the yellow over molded rubber on the sole looks nice but it sheds pretty easily and that was a disappointment but they have been such a good boot that I still give 5 stars. TBH I read all the reviews and the ones complaining about heavy use, you ’ re probably overweight and overworked. If you ’ re in a bullue collar field you ’ re most likely making bank so stop complaining and it ’s your feet change the shoes every six months. I ’ ve had mine for about 2 years now and it ’s worked fabulously. Lightweight, durable and everything is functional. Get over yourself, if you ’ re using them 50- 60 hours a week of course you ’ ll destroy them. Take care of your feet!

I bought these boots 2. 5 years ago and just bought a new pair. I really didn ’ t need to because they still hold up. I didn ’ t perform any care for these boots and they ’ ve held up amazing. I wore a hole in the toe crease point and the leather began separating from the toe about a month ago. I ’ ve worn them through my metal fabrication jobs a short term at UPS( immense amount of walking) and even plumbing putting a lot of wear and tear on the toes of these but they still held up. Metguards added in the past 3 months. I ’ ve been drenched while plumbing and in the rain. I ’ ve worked in these while dealing with more than 3 feet of snow through the cold seasons. I personally stay away from the models that have zippers I ’ ve never had a good experience with zippers. Worked most weeks as 7/10s or 6/10s and still wore them casually. I couldn ’ t recommend them more.

I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. These are very comfortable boots.. They fit and feel like sneakers but have great ankle support. I do busway work for power plants, which requires a lot of climbing and crawling and these boots have held up very well over the past three jobs( total of almost six 70- ish hour work weeks) so far with no signs of degradation. They are lightly insulated for the waterproofing, so I think they could get a little warm for the hot and humid months.

My foot size is 8. 5 regular. The boot size is the same but it feels `` spacious ''. Not too long or short or even wide but ample- enough to accommodate a thick sock. My advice would be that if your foot is low volume or on the small side of the size like mine, order down, if your foot is high volume, order your size, and if your foot is on the high side, order up. A size 8 might have been perfect for me but might not have been roomy enough for thick socks. It's a trade off. The boot leather is super thick but the boots were comfortable right out of the box. No break in required. So far they 're holding up well. The steel toe has not been a problem in the winter cold or summer heat. It is not a factor except when a chunk of wood slips out of my tired hands. I had to learn the need of a steel toe the hard way. I only wish Timberland attached a pull loop to the heel. They put one on their loafers but not on a 6 '' boot. Unusual. A loop would help with the on/off process. What would also help would be lace hooks in place off the top two lace holes. With lace holes the laces have to be pulled down and out to loosen them to widen the boot for removal. You ca n't just kick these boots off. Neither of the above nit picks is a deal breaker. I love these waffle stompers.

They are very comfortable and waterproof.- 25 Fahrenheit was about the coldest that I wore the boots in, they start to be a little cold at that point, but its rarely that cold here anyway. I walked on ice alot and felt like the traction was better than most my peers on the same surface.

I had a great experience with this boot. Switched from a different boot manufacturer which lasted about 1 year and tried these out for the first time. Very sturdy for me, lasted over a year and a half with no issues. I finally had to call it because the laces were starting to fray around the speed hooks but still good amount of tread left. Not the best in terms of non- skid but very comfortable. Going to try a second pair since the newest brand boots I was testing failed within the first 4 months of light use.

I have been looking for a Non- Slip Work Shoe/Boot for 15 years and I think I hit the Jackpot!!! I have been a Georgia Boot Customer since I was in high school and could afford to splurge on my own boots so I am a huge fan. I am a chef and had not thought about Georgia Boots for the kitchen and that is a mistake I am so happy I am fixing. Non- Slip is great but the comfort is hands down the best I have found after 15 years of trying a different company every 6 months I wo n't leave Georgia Boots from now on. This is my shoe. I am also a bigger guy and the fatigue is a thing of the past. Wish I could give these 10 Stars!!!

Well first off these are Lightweight and at the end of the day you don ’ t feel like a horse shedding a saddle. They slip off and my feet feel great. I did put my arch supports in and these boots picked up where my other Georgia boots left off. The soles of the boots grip well on many surfaces and the tops have a nice feel and not too restrictive also. I ordered a half size bigger, since I wear wool soaks for added cushion on my feet. Now the only draw back is I wish they were a little narrower by a little. These feel like they are wide instead of a standard width. Again, my wool soaks help make up for some of the looseness but it is not a deal breaker by no means. Thus far for everyday work boots for someone who is on their feet a lot on concrete, these have done really well.

The first thing I like about these boots is how shockingly comfortable they are, I have never had a pair of work shoes/boots that have been this comfortable. Second they are quite durable, they have survived 4 months of abusive 12+ hour work days on our farm and still appear to have quite a lot of life left. These boots and there past versions last a long time. I 've had several pairs over the last 23 years I 've worked roadway construction and they are the only work boots I use. The Vibram soles are the best. Leather is top quality. I replace the insoles yearly.

I work in the Oil and Gas Industry in Northeast PA., I am on my 5th pair of these boots, I get about 1 year out of these boots, which is acceptable to me. I work in mud and water every day and these boots are not babied. They have never ripped or come apart on me, they keep my feet dry. I highly recommend these boots, good job Irish Setter.

Bought 2 pairs of these about six years ago to wear around the barn and working in the woods and running a sawmill. They have been just what my old dogs needed. Comfortable, good support without being tight but easy to slip on and off even with swollen feet at the end of the day. They have been stepped on by horses, had logs dropped on them, been buried in horse manure and mud and yet stayed reasonably waterproof with minimal care. Highly recommend for anyone who likes a pull on work boot.

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and immediately appreciated the craftsmanship of the stitching and leather. If you were born in Texas then you need a pair. It's that simple. Also dont make the mistake of wearing them 10 hours the first day when they 're not broken in.
