Long honest review here and I want to start this review off with this is my very first full sized griddle. I have always just used the Camp Chef Sidekick Griddle on the Woodwind Smoker. Before buying I put in my time researching and looking at reviews and I am so happy I went with The Gridiron 36. This thing is sturdy, easy to use, and just looks badass. I am about 2 months in and keep saying I ’ m glad I stuck with Camp Chef equipment. First it arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together. Everything about it is fantastic. The lid is awesome and love how it ’s connected for easy on and off. The four burners and ignition is great and have not had a single issue. Extremely quiet when I turn it on. The shelves on the side are useful for everyday cooking and yes the one above the propane tank doesn ’ t fold down but that ’s okay I don ’ t fold them down to begin with even with the cover. Grease management is a breeze and love that it ’s in the front and easy access from underneath. I have the cover and griddle mat which I strongly suggest. IF you want some kind of critique or one thing I wish was different. I wish the line for the propane was not directly up front and in the rear, kind of hidden, but that ’s purely cosmetic and does not affect a thing. I ’ m over it already. My buddies have a popular competitor griddle and it just looks small and not as well built as the Gridiron 36. Next up is buying some of the magnetic attachments. After every cook I think I verbally say to my wife I ’ m glad I chose Camp Chef again!

Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. This will work well for you, if you realize how to use Cast Iron. It will heat slowly with the first pie and then probably burn if you do n't pay close attention. After that they will come out of the fire perfectly toasted and fairly fast. We had one as kids for camping with our family. It lasted over 40 years and one of my siblings has it now. I am often guilty of associating price with quality. So when looking for a pie iron for motorcycle camping I bought a Rome pie iron for more than 2x price of the Coghlan ’s version, but found the 28 ” handles don ’ t detach so they wont fit in my panniers. I purchased. BB30 BBQ for my Pro 60 14 ” stove. After purchase I found that the BBQ would not close completely with the pizza stone inserted in the BBQ. The two tabs that secure the BBQ grate during transport provide an interference with the pizza stone. Without modification of the tabs, these two items are not compatible with one another. The modification was simple for me and I am now happy with my purchase, but not all buyers will have the ability to make them work together. Buyer beware. Camp Chef has been a part of my family for forty years- this is the first issue I have had with three stoves and many accessories.

I bought this to replace the grill on the RoadTrip portable propane stove that I recently purchased, giving e capability to do eggs, pancakes, etc. I bought the RoadTrip after inquiring if it was a “ low pressure ” device, which my travel trailer required to operate from its propane system. Coleman said it was “ low pressure ”, but with its additional regulator it does not work from my travel trailer ’s propane system. It ’s a good product, but does not meet my original requirement.

This grill is fantastic. I always buy the cheap foil pans and cook my burgers on them just pick them up and toss so no mess at all and easy clean up. It does tend to use alot of propane in those small bottles BUT they are small bottles so super convenient. I love it

This came with my Woodwind grill. I can not be happier with the stove itself or the quality of the griddle. I have cooked many breakfasts on the griddle to the delight of all those that ate.
