Have purchased many of these over the years and they have proven to be a great bait for Speckled Trout during the fall season.

This is a great artificial. Cast it out, real it back in fairly fast and feel the strikes. I 've caught Red's, Snook, Lady Fish( I know but they 're fun to catch), and Mackerel( Spanish and King). I do however change out the Treble hook with a tougher# 4. The hooks that come on it are a little on the cheap side. Minor inconvenience for a great bait.

This is by far my favorite frog it gets all bass to strike the only problem is the legs are too long I cut mine about an inch.

5 Rick
Great affordable frog. One of the best frogs on the market when you factor in cost, durability, and action. I 've caught a lot of bass with these. I do wish Booyah would make the Jrs. in Albino.

5 Anonymous
I 've tried other frogs but this frog just flat out gets more bites than any other. Shove a couple worn rattles in the belly and hold on!

5 Anonymous
Love these frogs! favorite is the black and yellow Dart Frog. Please make the Jr. In Night Train color!

5 Anonymous
So Booyah advertises that this frog is still heavy enough to cast with bait casting gear. I assure you, they 're correct and that any average bait casting gear can absolutely cast this frog! And with the right set up, you can cast it a country mile!!! This product is equally built when compared to it's big brother `` Pad Crasher '' and both are top quality hollow body frogs for a more than reasonable price. These baits get noticed when they are in the water and catch fish! Do n't underestimate the `` Jr '' it's smaller profile will absolutely still catch `` the big fish ''! The full size Pad Crasher is great when hunting that lunker or looking for the kicker fish to take to the scales, but the Jr. is the one in your arsenal that you 'll want to focus on first to fill the live- well or for a fun day of fishing. It's compact size and profile are equally as temping as the Pad Crasher, but to a greater audience of the little swimmers below it. If you do n't have a smaller profile frog, get one. If you have n't tried a smaller frog, try it! Or if your just starting to use frogs, start with this one! Thank you Booyah Baits!

I love this bait! All of the Heddon Jr. sized walking baits seems to be sweet spot in my area for largemouth. They will smash these baits! If you have good technique in using walking baits, then these are a must for your tackle box. I own several colors from black to bone, but the one I purchased from Dick's is the G- Finish Bullfrog. The Super Spook Jr in Florida Bass color is also a good one. My last time out using this bait, a 2. 5lber leaped out of the water for it as I was pulling it out for a recast! How cool is that!?!

Frequently Asked Questions For Jr Lures

Junior lures are typically smaller versions of standard lures, designed to mimic the size and movement of juvenile fish. They are often used to target specific species that prefer smaller prey, making them ideal for various fishing conditions. Their compact size can also make them more effective in shallow waters or when fish are less aggressive.

Junior lures can be effectively used with various fishing techniques, including casting, trolling, and jigging. Their smaller size allows for more subtle presentations, which can be beneficial in situations where fish are wary or less active. Additionally, they can be used in both freshwater and saltwater environments, depending on the species being targeted.

Junior lures are often made from durable materials such as plastic, metal, or a combination of both. These materials are designed to withstand the rigors of fishing while providing realistic movement and action in the water. Some lures may also feature special coatings or finishes to enhance visibility and attract fish.

While junior lures can be effective for a variety of fish species, their success often depends on the specific preferences of the target fish. Species such as bass, trout, and panfish are commonly attracted to smaller lures, especially during certain seasons or in specific habitats. It's important to consider the local fishing conditions and the natural prey available to maximize effectiveness.

When selecting a junior lure, consider factors such as the type of fish you are targeting, the water conditions, and the time of year. Additionally, pay attention to the lure's color, size, and action, as these elements can significantly influence its effectiveness. Experimenting with different types can help determine what works best in your fishing environment.
