The RockLock has to be the best twist lock around. I was looking for a larger twist lock pear shape carabiner with a large gate opening to use on my cowtails for caving and this hit the mark. This is the largest opening I can find in a twist lock. Twist lock is super easy to open with thicker/muddy gloves on. Easier to clean/decon and durable. Larger opening makes these super easy to use at anchors, quick to clip safety lines, or to clip the ledge above your anchor knot. I also use these for making a top rope anchor as remember to screw the gate down, I ’ m bad with that, and it doesn ’ t take two hands to manipulate like a trilock. I can not recommend these more.

Fantastic Carabiner!! My main use for these is on top rope solos as I don ’ t want to have to twist a screw gate. Very versatile piece of equipment!!

Yes, there are less expensive options, but these are worth the extra money. The auto lock feature works flawlessly, the the large, textured gate is easy to use even when wearing mittens or gloves. Purchased these to use in teaching Low Angle Rescue courses for the NSP.

Have only used a few times but so far I am loving these alpine sender quickdraws! extremely light and easy to use. Have used for crag( trad and sport) and alpine climbing( trad), I 'm looking to purchase more in the longer length as well.

Because I really liked how the gates felt whilst clipping. I Used this product mostly for lead climbing and the extra length really helped in some of the tricky positions you get into. I have always liked the way Mammut carabiners feel. They feel secure but not to stiff to make clipping hard in any way. This product is great for beginner to expert climbers.
5
Mammut Sender series gear is light and ready to help get you to the top. I have complete trust in Mammut gear and have never seen any reason to question it. These are long and light and make an excellent addition to your rack.

[ Bought these for a primitive slackline setup. They carabine very well. They are just as shiny as in the photo if not more! Shape was definitely oval so they nailed that too, on all 3 of them! Would buy again if I needed more but they seem like they will last a long time, so they should probably consider that when making them. If you want people too buy your product often do n't make it so strong! The slackline held me sufficiently for the record...

I 've been using these for anchor- building, and the screwgate makes me feel secure. They 're lightweight, and I do n't feel burdened by them at all. I would probably get a bigger one for something like lead belaying, but for anchors, rappels, etc., these have been solid.

Good carabiner to have extra safety without getting too bulcky or heavy. Ideal to clip straight to bolts like when using those Quads or similar anchors. It is too small to make knots or self anchor over other ropes or rappels. Good to carry your machard Kevlar 5- 6mm cord for rapelling. Good stuff!

The crag wire quick draws are great for sport routes, nice responsive gate feel, low rope drag through the carabiners, the rubber grommet helps if you have to reach for a bolt, and overall they are well built as expected from Mammut.

Super durable draw. Carabiner gates are wide and easy to clip.

I Loke that it is easy to use with gloves on due to there size. The solid gate wake it easy to take from the gear loop and the wire gate save on weight. I like them for ice climbing. In summer I use lighter draws with small carabiners. I would like to see those draws with a 15- 18cm dogbone. Short draws are nice for some sport route, but then I personnaly use ligther draws.

A keylock nose carabiner features a smooth, snag-free design that prevents the gate from catching on ropes or gear. This design is particularly beneficial for reducing the risk of accidental opening during use. Unlike traditional carabiners with a hooked nose, keylock versions provide a more streamlined experience, making them ideal for climbing and other outdoor activities.
Keylock nose carabiners offer several advantages for climbers, including enhanced safety and ease of use. Their snag-free design allows for quick clipping and unclipping, which can be crucial during climbs. Additionally, they tend to be lighter than other carabiners, making them a popular choice for those looking to minimize gear weight.
Yes, keylock nose carabiners are versatile and suitable for various climbing styles, including sport climbing, trad climbing, and alpine climbing. Their design helps prevent accidental openings, making them a reliable choice for both beginners and experienced climbers. Depending on the specific activity, climbers may choose different locking mechanisms or shapes to best suit their needs.
Keylock nose carabiners are typically made from durable materials such as aluminum or steel, which offer strength and resistance to wear. Aluminum carabiners are lighter and often preferred for climbing, while steel options provide added durability for heavy-duty applications. The choice of material can affect the carabiner's weight, strength rating, and overall performance.
Choosing the right keylock nose carabiner involves considering factors such as the type of climbing you will be doing, the weight of the carabiner, and the locking mechanism. It's important to select a carabiner that meets the strength requirements for your specific activities. Additionally, evaluating the size and shape can help ensure it fits well with your gear and provides the functionality you need.
Yes, keylock nose carabiners can be used for a variety of purposes beyond climbing, including camping, hiking, and securing gear. Their snag-free design makes them useful for attaching items without the risk of tangling. However, it's essential to ensure that the carabiner's strength rating is appropriate for the intended use to ensure safety and reliability.
