My son got the 2024- 10 USSSA The Goods( Travel) and the 2023- 10 USA The Goods( Rec) for xmas. The 2024 barrel is much longer and is larger than the 2023 model( 2 3/4 '' compared to 2 5/8 ''). The 2024 model is better balanced, has more pop, a larger sweet spot, and an excellent sound off the barrel. The 2023 is great for a USA certified bat, but does n't compare. Time will tell about durability. I 'd like to see a better grip on both. I also wish the USSSA model had the same finish as the BBCOR, the graphics took a step back this year.

I ended up buying this 30 ” drop 3 Atlas for my 12yr old son who was having trouble getting the 2025 Atlas 32 ” drop 3 through the zone fast enough. Long sweet spot, good weight balance, nice tapered handle and good pop. I would recommend for smaller/average size players; larger power hitters may want a more end loaded bat. Not sure if it will be as durable as the Icon, but seems on par. Louisville is now in the travel bat Top 3.
