I wrecked on my motorbike and cracked my gen 1 razor 10x50 binos. Vortex emailed me back within hours and I sent them off. Unfortunately they werent repairable but the folks at Vortex got me a new pair. The new pair is 10x the glass, lighter, crisper and compact. Love these guys! Isn ’ t the first time they ’ ve taken care of me in a pinch and likely won ’ t be the last! Thanks guys and thanks for great product!

Very sharp, bright optics!! I use mine for astronomy, nature and birdwatching. Ideal for those occasions when I do n't want to expose my high end binoculars to cold temperatures( i. e. Winter time astronomical observing) and as a second pair of `` knock around '' binoculars for quick looks at birds and other distant nature subjects.

I got these binoculars to spot comet NEOWISE in mid July 2020 and I was n't disappointed at all. The binoculars are light, not too big and the clarity is just awesome. I was able to spot the comet very easily from Central Jersey even with all the light pollution. I 've also used them during the day and again, great results. I highly recommend these for stargazing as well as general use. I 've also made a YouTube video on these binoculars: https: //youtu. be/1vrqcl5gaEY

I purchased the Razor HD 8x32 from the wonderful store, Jay's Bird Barn in Prescott, Arizona about two years ago. I use them primarily for birding and occasionally for astronomy( the Beehive Cluster is a fantastic sight through these things). For birding they are great for close work such as my back yard Hummingbird feeder just 10 feet from the chair on my deck. For medium distances they also provide excellent, wonderfully clear views.

I wear eyeglasses and it is great if a set of binos gives me the option to view without removing my glasses. The UHD 10x50 allows this, and so does the Razor HD 8x42. They are better than the Viper 8x42 in this respect even though the eye relief on the spec sheet is less. Friendly reminder that the effective eye relief is never just the eye relief on a spec sheet, especially when comparing different brands/lines. Glass? Exceptional, as you 'd expect with the Razor name. Easy handling, great glass, large exit pupil, and great eye relief have made these my go- to bino. Love my UHD 10x50, but the 8x42 is 12 ounces lighter and easier to live with.

Tested several sets of binoculars with the purpose of bird watching and general wildlife observation. The color and clarity hit a sweet spot for me in comparison to the competitors. The size and weight are nice for lengthy hikes and the warranty is top notch. I contacted Vortex because I lost a lens cap. I received an immediate response and had the replacement within a week. Cheers Vortex.

Bought this binocular on the recommendation of Ryan. I was on the side of Mark, `` more is better '' so I was skeptical of the `` less is more '' however this thing rocks. I bought a pair of Eagle Optics Ranger 8x42 on 9/8/2001. They accompanied me on innumerable hikes and kayak trips. I did n't abuse them, but they got knocked around plenty in all the usual ways. Finally, after over 22 years of service, the part of the right barrel holding the objective lens came loose, so I emailed Vortex to see if it could be repaired. I promptly got a response from Kathy in VIP Care enthusiastically inviting me to send them in and even providing a mailing label so there was no shipping. cost to me. Within two weeks, I received a note that my old binocs could not be repaired, along with a brand new Viper 8x42 HD, with a note of thanks. When Vortex says `` UNLIMITED. UNCONDITIONAL. LIFETIME WARRANTY. '' believe it!

I chose my Vortex Fury binox in 2009 for viewing animals on an African safari after the store owner said they were the best for low light, and the ones he 'd take. They were magnificent then and always, but fourteen years later my beloved Furies are battered, cracked and- from the latest fumble- the right eyepiece no longer dialed back in. I called Vortex for repair advice and was dumbfounded to learn of their essentially bulletproof- lifetime- no- receipt- needed warranty. I mailed them off to Vortex and today a brand- new in- the- box pair of Vipers arrived! I can hardly believe my luck. Not only the best binox ever. The best warranty ever.

I bought these binoculars 3 or 4 years ago for whitetail and turkey hunting in Virginia. After 3 or 4 seasons of whitetail, turkey, bear and taking them out west for Mule deer, antelope and ducks I have been extremely happy with them. Just last year I noticed that my eye pieces were coming loose and the screws appeared to be either breaking off or falling out. They had been through a lot so I wasn ’ t surprised. I spoke to Vortex customer service last week, submitted a warranty claim and received a brand new pair in the mail today. Vortex gained a life- long customer after this experience, couldn ’ t be happier.

I use these for bird watching and waterfowl scouting, and I thought I had a decent pair of Bushnell binoculars and I had no clue what I was missing( like the first time you try on Costa 580G sunglasses)! [ I LOVE these tough binoculars! Very user friendly, easy adjustments, and great feel in the hands. Quick shipping, and easy return of the ones I chose not to keep. I bought two different magnifications, and while the 8x32 do allow for brighter lighting, I chose the 10x32 as most of use will be during the day and in the car. I was finally able to determine whether the “ dog ” I kept seeing was indeed a coyote and not a wolf or a stray. And yup, you CAN see the craters on the moon!( HINT: They show up better when the moon is not full). I also have a pair of 8x42 I keep for home use. Really enjoying these very portable Nocs!

[ See what I did there, I substituted COOLER for culars. Because these binos are way cooler than the rest. You can even buy a doohicky that lets you mount your smartphone to them. Also, they make things that I want to see closer like birds, animals, Taylor Swift, or my cute neighbor girl look much closer. But here ’s what they don ’ t tell you. For things up close that you would like to see further away, like my wife, my mother in law, or the cops after I get caught looking at the neighbor girl, just flip them around and look through the other side. I ’ m not saying you ’ ll get away, but it might buy you a few extra seconds of time.

I was n't expecting much from a binocular at this price point, but the bantam is surprisingly good. It's not a toy. Build quality was good, although the ocular guards were a bit loose. Focuser works smoothly. Eye relief is good and works with glasses. It is a bit finicky about eye placement to avoid beaning. The view is bright and sharp at the center. Falling off begins on the outer part of the view, but is n't too dramatic. The field of view is decent. For a child/youth it will do the job and they will love it. For Christmas or birthday they will be delighted. Adults can use it as well, if they are looking for something light with low magnification. At this price you will be hard pressed to find something better. In addition, the warranty is great if anything goes wrong.

Adjustable small enough for my 8 year old and large enough for athletic 46. They sit tight to your chest, doesn ’ t interfere with your bow. 2 side nets for sunglasses and wind chalk. The bingo in the front is nice and quiet. Highly recommend. Good for all skill levels. Novice to expert. Wether keeping it light on a good day trip or spike camping for multiple day adventures. For the price, you can ’ t beat it.

[ Remarkable headlamp! The initial light is very bright and has multiple dimmer options. It is durable, lightweight, comfortable to wear, and fully adjustable. Battery life is good( approximately 4 hours on the highest setting). One feature is the impressive brightness, with a max output of 250 lumens in Spot> High mode. It offers 3 modes: Spot, Flood, and Red. With the dimmable feature, 7 different light modes are available. Spot mode provides a focused beam to illuminate a path or dark corner. Flood mode provides broader illumination. The Red mode helps preserve night vision and does not attract insects as much as the other light modes. It comes with AAA batteries; however, I would have preferred a rechargeable battery. Also, additional hard hat clips would have been a nice feature. Otherwise, this is a solid- performing, feature- rich headlamp! The NEBO Einstein 250 offers great functionality and brightness.

[ The NEBO Einstein 250 Headlamp is a fantastic tool for anyone needing reliable lighting in tight, challenging spaces like crawl spaces and attics. One of its standout features is its impressive brightness, with a maximum output of 250 lumens in the Spot High mode. This setting provides excellent visibility for inspecting dark corners or working with intricate details in low- light conditions. The floodlight modes, particularly Flood High at 80 lumens, are perfect for broader illumination, making it easier to navigate and work hands- free in confined areas. Additionally, the Red Light mode helps preserve night vision, which is especially useful when transitioning between dark and lit spaces without blinding yourself or others. What makes the Einstein 250 especially convenient is its lightweight design and secure headband. The adjustable strap stays firmly in place even during physical activity, allowing you to focus on your work without worrying about the headlamp shifting or falling off. This feature is invaluable when crawling or bending in tight spaces where your hands are occupied. The headlamp ’s tilt- adjustable feature is another plus, as it lets you angle the light precisely where you need it without constantly readjusting your position. The versatility of the light modes and the easy access to the Direct- to- Red feature make this headlamp an indispensable tool for professionals and DIYers alike. The ability to switch quickly between modes ensures that you can adapt to any lighting need, whether it ’s pinpoint accuracy in Spot Low or soft ambient light in Flood Low. Its durability, water resistance, and efficient runtime( up to 3. 5 hours on the highest setting) make it a dependable companion for challenging environments like crawl spaces and attics. Overall, the NEBO Einstein 250 offers exceptional functionality, comfort, and brightness for anyone needing a reliable lighting solution.

Good all around headlamp in terms of weight/brightness balance. Favorite feature is that the continuous brightness adjustment is remembered when powered off/on, so I do n't have to keep readjusting it. Button is large and easy enough to use to handle with glove or mitten on, and headlamp worked fine in near zero( F) temps.

[ Wowzer! Bought this for my hubby as a xmas present. He has the original Petzl Duo that I purchased for him 20 years ago and it's still going strong too. I updated him as he recently went caving with my son and college grotto and one student commented( in awe) that he 'd never seen an original duo in person, only in books and magazines.!!! I thought it might be time for an upgrade. We have n't taken it into caves yet but it's been amazing at our cabin in the woods.

[ Regular holbrooks are a bit small for my large head but the XL's fit perfect, and the shallow water lens is great- really adds a lot of contrast and brightens up days with drab, flat lighting. Not so much a fan of the fake woodgrain but it does add a bit of texture so they do seem to stay put better than the standard gloss.
