I wore them right out of the box for a trip, walked 5, 000 to 10, 000 steps daily for 2 weeks and my foot did n't hurt at all. I liked them so much that I bought another pair. Unfortunately my shoe size/color were not available in women's. It stated that the React Phantom Run Flyknit 2 was unisex so I took a chance and bought a men's size 6( I wear women's 7. 5 in this shoe). Do NOT buy it in a men's size. Non elite runner, former Div 1 soccer player and a high school basketball player! Like running for conditioning and its simplicity. These are my first plated super shoe. My favorite shoe all- time is the 2017 Nike Turbo Pegasus. The Vaporfly 3 is a great shoe, but there are a few caveats. It is really light- weight, well cushioned. It has a lot of pep and a very good toe off. I am a mid foot striker, so the shoe is very effective at improving your speed. Heel strikers, this shoe could be trouble. I am relatively neutral runner too, so, non- neutrals beware! I have only run 5 miles in the show. My first two times was on a dedicated pavement path. Light rain both times! The sneakers are pretty grippy. I had No slippage! These are very “ airy ” uppers- no over heating at all. I have high in- step and arches! I use a runners knot- perfect! No heel slippage and very good lock down! The plate with high arch was noticeable, but, no discomfort running! The shoe excels at running at pace, and when speeding up. It does both effortlessly and it seems to prefer that tempo to any other running style! I did not run on trails- and I would not recommend! The trail would probably shred the soles! I am not sure if the rear rubber bumpers will make it to 100 miles ’ and I am a mid- foot striker! The shoe laces are quality and had no slippage! The toe box is roomy and I wore my true Nike size 10. Visually, the shoe looks narrow, but, it did not feel “ narrow ” when running! Quite the opposite, actually! I do not have narrow feet, and I had no problems with the shoe ’s last. I am about 6- pounds heavier than my ideal running weight of 141 lbs and the shoes easily handle my weight. Bottom Line; an amazingly engineered shoe, bouncy, very light weight, airy and cool, no heel slippage, pretty good traction, very good lock- down, excellent for running at pace and for higher tempo runs. I have no intention of running more than a 10K in these. And I would NOT wear these for “ easy runs ”, nor for “ recovery runs ”. These are highly focused and motivated and performance driven running shoes! There is not a mellow bone in its body or soul! The carbon plate is noticeable, and may take some getting used to. I will try to update the review after 50 and 100 miles, to see how the shoe is wearing and holding up. I bought the shoe myself, and I fully recommend. The shoe challenges you to run efficiently and with pace. The shoe has a purposeful mindset!

My old pair( previous model) was a little snug, so I sized up by half a size( from my normal size which, interestingly, does work for the Pegasus), and these fit really well. I 'm not sure why these size a little differently that other models, but take note.

The only thing that I 'm disappointed in is that I did n't try these until right before the Vaporfly 4 replaces them. Absolutely loved these on my marathon training long runs and looking forward to wearing them in my first marathon. They break in pretty easy and my son has yet to complained once about them hurting his feet or getting blisters like other cleats. He wants to wear these all the time over all his other cleats( f50, lower model of mercurials etc). He got the Kylian Mbappe color( yellow). Sizing is true to size, but be aware that this cleat model should be avoided on turf/artificial grass. There are different studs on each model cleat, so choose which one best suits you. Bought these boots for my son for the start of his new football season. Was well presented in a smart silver box. Inside was a blue bag with the nike logo to keep boots in if you do n't have a boots bag but would do for accessories also. The boots themselves were very light, and running my hand over the fabric, you could feel the grip from the textured surface. Once the boots where on he said they where very comfortable at the heel with the padding but a bit tight towards the toes. Returned and ordered a size up.

It ’s gets softer and moulds to your feet over several wears and personally find it much better fit than the mercurial as I have wide feet. The grip is a very balanced and enables better curve on the ball when shooting with both inside and outside of the foot. I had to get half a size bigger than I normally wear trainers as I found it being too much of a perfect fit with no ability to move my toes otherwise.

PERFECT WIDE FOOT NIKE CLEAT. I ’ ve been searching for a pair of cleats that don ’ t cut my outside toes and because this uses the same soleplate as the first gx ’s it runs a bit wider in the toe box as well. I ’ ve tried all the new mercurial low top and high top lines with no luck other than bloody toes. Also tried the FG GX line and that soleplate also runs narrow. I ’ m so happy that Nike decided to keep the soleplate design/width on these and hope that they cont to have wide toe/foot options. This ones a keeper on the soleplate.

Looks and feels very well made. Have n't used in a game or practice yet. Outsole looks much better than Phantom GX. Hope it last longer than GX as well. For somewhat wider feet, it will take sometime to break in.

Really good boots, I recommend to get a half size up since it comes tight, if you get the your right size, they fit comfortably, overall they are a better upgrade from the vapor 15s and feel lighter, great boot!
