My 6 year old was getting bumps and bruises playing against other older kids in basketball from all the reaching and tripping that goes on In youth sports. He started wearing these a week ago in practices to test if he was still able to be mobile and not restricted by the compression and the padding. It was non issue for him. In fact he played harder knowing he was protected by the knee pads. He even got arm sleeve pads and same result; it didn ’ t affect his shot and was more confident knowing if he ever had hard fall on his elbow he was protected there was well.
