I was never diagnosed with any type of tennis elbow, but growing up horse back riding, playing sports and constant heavy lifting, my one elbow constantly cracks and tends to get pain on and off. I noticed i needed extra support when shooting archery as the pain tends to flare up most at that time. I purchased this brace and could n't be happier. Suffered from epicondylitis for several years to the point where I could no longer do upper body workouts. Finally got the condition under control but workouts re- inflamed until I started wearing these. They are excellent and provide just the right pressure in the right places. Never workout without them. I use them several times per week and they lasted about 2 years before the velcro would no longer hold well enough. I have no issues with that. They have been very durable and I think 1- 2 years is a good lifespan for as much as i use them.

These things saved my knees more than a few times this week during figure skating camp. In one incident I tried to avoid a skater who tried to avoid me by going the same direction. I went down on my knees full force with her in my arms without feeling a thing and was able to keep her back and head off the ice at the same time. on another occasion I went down on my knees after catching my toe pick on a corner, bounced, and slid the rest of the way on my butt. Hightly recommended for figure skaters.

Very low profile( they fit right under your pants or shirt) and they really take the sting out of a fall. The best thing is that you do n't even notice you have them on( they do n't restrict mobility at all). I took a knee right to the pavement at one point in a way that would have taken me out of commission for a few days in the past and I did n't feel a thing.( I was a little sore the next day, but as I said the kind of fall I had would normally have been a much more serious injury). For the usual bumps and falls, these things really do the job( especially when the board knocks your knees or you fall on an elbow doing a trick). A word of advice for McDavid: I think there is a really big untapped market for you guys in skateboarding.
