Happened to my first one; went to the gym after BJJ practice and I kept the case connected to my water bottle but somewhere along the way the mouthguard fell out without me knowing. Bought another one in a brighter color and now I keep it in my bag; no problems since. The mouthguard itself fits great. Might take a few tries fitting to your mouth, but with patience and some retries you 'll get it. I use it primarily for Brazilian jiujitsu. Ironic that Dick's asked me to review this today since today was its first real test. I 've been using it for a few weeks for Jiu Jitsu and it does make breathing easier. It feels so light that I 've been nervous about the durability. Today I caught a knee right in the center of my mouth. It was enough to give me some fat lips and drew a little blood, but the mouthpiece held up good. Thankful to say, my grill is still fully intact.
