[ I bought this for an up coming trip but have not used it yet. My initial observations are that it is light weight, relatively speaking. With the soft handle it takes up less space and is easier to pack. It is insulated and is a good size for its intended use. When I take it to work, I just collapse it and slip it into a small compartment in my purse. It's lightweight and durable too! It's even dishwasher safe! It's also super easy for my small kids to drink from and I do n't ever have to worry about it being broken. It's very hard to damage.
