I dumped my big backpack years ago and traveled light with a gray Herschel which seemed just the right size. Then I found myself with a book, laptop, sandwich( cause you 've got to bring your own food on planes nowadays), and electronic cables and batteries until the Hershel was running out of space. I did n't want to go back to a big backpack but wanted something just a little bigger. This works! It's small enough to fit under an airline seat( see photo) but bigger and more organized on the inside. Plus my gray canvas Herschel showed dirt and stains whereas this one is jet black and has a slick surface that can be wiped off. It feels a little bigger and stiffer on the back but I 'm fine with that. You 're not going to get compliments with this one because it is plain black but it's super functional and with a lifetime guarantee I 'm not planning on getting another backpack for a long time.

It does have a mesh pocket in the inside, where I was able to place my 14in laptop and it sat comfortably. There is a smaller zipper pocket above the mesh pocket. I actually like the asymmetrical zipper! I think it adds a nice touch to the backpach. This pocket is also quite roomy and can fit a lot of things! There is a side pocket for your water bottle. It fit my 32oz bottle! Which is definitely a need for me! The only thing I wish it had, was another side pocket. Only to be able to quickly place things in it. The backpack is cute and roomy. My little guy is seven years old. It is a little big for him but hopefully he ’ ll have it for a while. Today is the first day we ’ ve used it. I wanted to buy a quality backpack so he can use it for a couple years. Zippers always tend to break off- I ’ m hoping it ’s not the case with this one as well. They don ’ t seem too terribly sturdy, but I will keep my fingers crossed. The quality of the backpack is OK I was hoping for$ 42, It would ’ ve been a little bit better quality though.

This bag is great. As a mobile caregiver in hospital setting, I take it to work with me and since being pregnant with unexpected happenings, it carries all my personal items. I keep my keys, pens, water bottle, snacks in there too. It's durable. Functional. I plan to carry my pumping parts when I return to work. My only wish is that it came in a bigger size like 30L. Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

I love the sage/mint green tone of my new backpack.( Hydro Green) It is soft, lightweight, all I wanted. The first I got was with a defect but exchange was flawless. I am not going to wear it heavy and super full- just my bottle of water, some papers, some snacks, a phone, a purse, a hat etc. so I am okay with the lightness and softness of the backpack. I would try to find something else if planned to wear heavy notebook/things( there is no very hard padding here).
