This is a lovely padded warm ski pant! We went skiing in- 15 weather& it held up great! One day was rainy& while my daughter's Patagonia pants looked wet, the water bubbled off these pants& kept me dry, it's definitely waterproof! I love the waistband, it's a soft material that hugs the lower back& the sides have Velcro straps to tighten. I wish they went a little higher up the waist for my own preference, but they sit nicely and I tucked several layers without issues. It runs true to size, I 'm an XS and still had plenty of room for 2 legging layers underneath. I purchased the matching jacket( both black) and the combo was warm& waterproof. I wish there were more fun/vibrant color options:) but definitely worth the investment for cold days& activities.

Very well made slacks with soft 2. 5 inch elastic band that hugs my waist nicely. Surprised to find that the zipper is fake but with the elastic waist they slide down easily after undoing the clasps. The two clasps make the waistband lay nicely. The legs are roomy but not huge. The fabric is a bit stretchy and allow for bending and squatting with comfort. I usually wear an 8 and ordered a Medium. They were big and I believe a small would fit well. The attention to detail and finishing makes these slacks stunning enough to dress up but are comfortable and durable enough to do anything else in them.

I was kind of skeptical getting these considering the way the size is listed. Since I am tall, usually I have to be careful and most stuff is too short for the inseam length. I am 6 ’ 3 ” and 185lbs. I just visited London, walking 25k- 30k steps each day over the past four days. I wore these pants each day and have never been more comfortable! It rained on me, every single day while I was walking, and with no umbrella, the water repellant worked great. They are not water proof( neither is the jacket), so there were times when I could see that water had gotten into the material. But I never felt that I got wet, thanks to these pants and the matching jacket that I also wore on one of the days. I never leave clothing reviews, but after what I just put these pants through, and how well they have held up, they deserved a public 5 star recognition from me!
