Been living rural most of my life. Since we used a number one to state what year it is, living very rural. In short when the power goes out I must have reliable strong light.. have horses, dawgs, and getting older too.... the Newton is the best I 've found.. _x000D_ _x000D_ Waterproof, serious build, and just feels like a tool. No part which feels weak. Even the push button feels strong... I have 3, 4, 8 good lamps, some high buck sliders, the nebo is my never fail light... in fact am going to buy a couple more for Christmas. Me thinks I will keep one for me hahaha. I ’ m very surprised at some of these bad reviews! I own both the 1500 and 2000 Nebo Davinci flashlights and they are incredible. Best flashlights I have ever owned. I personally prefer the 1500 because of its size. It ’s super small and lightweight and for its size it puts out an insane amount of light with great control and throw. The 2000 is a bit bigger, and even though it does produce more light, the 1500 seems to have the best size to light ratio- so that ’s my recommendation, for what it ’s worth. They are easy to charge( with usb c; hurray!!) and without having to take the battery all the way out. I ’ ve never had any issues with them after getting wet or dropping them, which I ’ ve unfortunately done quite a bit. After many many comparisons, these are the absolute best so far. Hope this helps!

Battery life is good( approximately 4 hours on the highest setting). One feature is the impressive brightness, with a max output of 250 lumens in Spot> High mode. It offers 3 modes: Spot, Flood, and Red. With the dimmable feature, 7 different light modes are available. Spot mode provides a focused beam to illuminate a path or dark corner. Flood mode provides broader illumination. The Red mode helps preserve night vision and does not attract insects as much as the other light modes. It comes with AAA batteries; however, I would have preferred a rechargeable battery. Also, additional hard hat clips would have been a nice feature.
