The padding is thick, but not too thick, which is perfect for comfort. Having fewer bars on the helmet makes it easier to see through. The helmet feels sturdy, as it will protect against injury. Visibility is improved and makes hitting easier. Overall, the Easton Ghost Vision Helmet feels and fits great! It gives me confidence that it will protect me, but still allow me to see better than traditional helmets. While this is true, picking up the helmet feels heavier, but I would definitely trade the weight for the improvement in safety and visibility.

First just a huge fan of Mammoth stuff. Great gear, high quality and has a good look to it. This is a good helmet for climbing, biking, and honestly if you are n't worried about fashion on the jobsite can get away with it on some low key sites. The chin strap gets you points with the safety crew. But note it is not TYPE 2, so no help on that. Just type 1 and EN 12492. All good and Mammoth keep making cool stuff!

My 9 yr old daughter wears glasses and she has struggled with the ability to wear her glasses under her helmet. She can wear them with this helmet. The wide field of view is a plus as well as the Velcro ear pads. The Velcro ear pads allowed us to move them( or better position them) to make room for her frames coming around her ears.
