I ’ ve had this jacket for a couple years. I purchased it for more of a casual jacket but have discovered it ’s a great piece to add to a layering system for hiking. It does an excellent job of blocking the wind and can be warn over base layers in some pretty cold conditions. Or use it as a mid layer under an outer shell. I ’ m tempted to buy the hooded version also. I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ” and 230#. The XL fits perfect.
