Great quality and soft. Just know this is loose baggy fit and you may have to size down. My son is 17, 5 ’ 11 ” and is about 160 pounds. Long legs and arms! So I would say he needed a medium but he ended up telling me he had “ too many baggy sweats ” so I recommend based on quality and style and I know these sweats will last because we have bought these type of pants before!

I took them on a mountaineering adventure snowshoeing through knee to waist deep snow without getting even a drop wet. Incredible breathability, stretch, and comfort. I love the color too! They even ripped because I snagged them with a crampon and still didn ’ t let any water through!

One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M 's feel a bit tight. There 's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It 's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.
