The recent extremely cold weather events low 30 's degree event was n't a fair test, but this jacket also acts as a mid/ base layer also. It this capacity it carried on perfectly. I normally wear a large and the conversion chart 's recommendation would have basically come out as a medium( but I bought a XL so all is good).

Like the other reviewers I was skeptical about how thin the material was. However, after wearing it snowboarding and Nordic skiing as a mid layer, it is awesome. The only downside I can tell is that the thumb holes are aligned in a way that sort of twists the sleeves. Also the seam line across the chest can be a little annoying to feel. Otherwise, warm and worth the upgrade.

A Fantastic fleece, lovely fit and design. Unfortunately 1 years worth of wear has really taken its toll. I have worn this fleece a lot, I love it( certainly not everyday) but it 's had a lot of casual everyday use over the past year. Unfortunately the fleece has bobbled and piled in areas, more than a usual fleece should. Some parts of the fleece have also worn down too easily- the arms/cuffs for example are now very thin and do n't feel comfortable against the skin anymore. Not as quality a product as Fjallraven should be in my opinion. However the green fleece I also own and has stood the test of time a bit better. All in all a great fleece let down by 1 years worth of casual everyday wear( but now looks like it 's a couple of years old at least!).
