Being a Transplant from coast of North Carolina to Massachusetts in the early sixties. I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. Although the prices continue to increase for them. I have had I pair in 65 years that did n't give at least ten plus years. That pair was damaged by my me by resting a razor tipped arrow head on rubber portion of the boot. It did n't even cut all the way through. I ca n't say enough good things about theses boots. I normally wear a size 12, always. I tried a pair in 12 and the were a little loose. I returned them and went with a 11. 5 and now they fit perfectly. They are not overly tight at all. My toes still have plenty of room.

[ I love these shoes! I was apprehensive about trying them because I have dealt with plantar fasciitis and usually wear orthotic inserts and only buy running shoes. However, I love all things Columbia so I decided to look at their shoes. I tried these on in a shoe store, read the benefits, and decided to give them a try. They are comfortable, fit well, and the orthotic lite seems to work well. I walk for an hour every morning and the shoes have provided enough support and cushion for me to wear them the day without any foot discomfort. I walk outdoors and have twice walked in the rain since purchasing them. The outsides of the shoes were wet, but the insides were dry and just the tips of my socks were damp. That is also a game changer! Excellent all around shoe. I could n't be happier!
