These have a slightly stiffer sole make them a bit more awkward to walk in( but they 're not really walking shoes) and they are a little on the narrow side- I have no issues sporting them for 45 minutes on a ride, but do n't know how comfortable they would be on a 2- 3 hr ride.

Just wide enough to not squish my D width feet. The lacing is great too. The sole is a bit thin, so you may need to strategically remove a pin from your platform pedals to avoid drilling a hole thru the sole( I ’ ve had 3 pair of these and now know how to avoid that). They wear well, hold their shape, dry quickly and are my go- to shoe for mtb!
