Fast. Currently running in Invincible 3s and Infinity Rn4s, I actually bought these just to have. As an older runner with knee arthritis, I need good cushion. I tried these out on a 6 mile treadmill run and wow- these shoes are quick!! There is great support and the sole is perfect no matter where your foot strikes.( I ’ m a mid- forefoot striker). And they are super light; they feel much lighter than my other pairs( above). Looks like I ’ ll be using these for speed work. Kudos again Nike!

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I 've been using the gore- Tex trail shoes with Currex high arch insoles for more than a year of consecutive daily running. I was doing more trail/gravel running til late winter& switched to the track for later runs. This is my first carbon plate Nikes and I ca n't believe how much faster& lighter they feel on my feet. Of course now I want to try the vapor/alphas as well. I have really high arches and it is like they made this shoe to fit me perfectly. I may end up putting my insoles in but I had not even needed them for my first week of runs in them. I 'm definitely going faster than I 'd even imagined. Great shoes. I 'd love to see more colorways. I actually worked in them the first night I got them and had several complements. I felt like I was Tigger from Winnie the Pooh bouncing around the hospital all night.

I ’ m relatively new to road racing( having done just one half marathon this year) and this is my first carbon shoe. My warm up mile was light and breezy in this shoe and my speed work was definitely faster than normal. I struggled to run slow in these shoes for my cool down mile- your feet turnover fast in these shoes. I did have to size up a half size from a 7. 5 to 8, but super pleased after just one run. I worry that the 8mm drop is a little too high for me to use on long runs tho, but we ’ ll see.

I ’ ve bought Reebok Nano 6 ’s for years and they ’ ve been great for CrossFit workouts. I recently switched to more HIIT workouts and really felt the need for more cushioning- especially going from box jumps to sprints and more. I bought the metcons in both 8. 5( my normal size) and 9 ’s as people said to size up. They were comfortable and had more cushioning yet the same stability as my metcons but the sizing was a bit weird. My normal size felt a little bit tighter/smaller but the 9 ’s felt huge. I stuck with my normal size and did my first HIIT workout and they were SOLID. Super comfortable, stable for heavy lifts, and most importantly didnt feel tight. Definitely my new favorite shoe. Highly recommended.

I purchased these online for an upcoming trip to Japan and was shocked to discover that they are Mount Fuji themed! This is my first purchase of On shoes-- I generally buy cheaper shoes but then have to use inserts after about a month to maintain comfort. These were more pricy than I usually buy, but they were on sale, and so far I have zero regrets.- They are very comfortable. I do n't even notice them.- They are lighter colored and I am clumsy; I expected them to be stained within a couple days. I have been pleased to find that dirt/grime/spills wipe off of them easily.- I can be on my feet all day and my feet are n't tired To be honest, the only `` complaint '' I have so far is that the laces do n't stay tied all the time. Sometimes I have to retie them. I can live with that. Also( and this has nothing to do with the shoes) this is the first time I 've ever ordered from Dick's and they made the ordering and delivery process a pleasure. I love these shoes. I was a mega fan of the SL2. 0 with the Continental rubber sole. The one difference I noticed is the sole. I ran in the SL2 after some rain and the traction was precarious. Similar to other shoes models that have been updated without the Continental soles, I did not feel comfortable running in these shoes with any moisture on the pavement. I was afraid of tweaking my knee or ankle. Otherwise, these are nice and light with enough cushion and pep.
