Not going to lie, I was very reluctant to spend$ 25 on wrist weights when I could get a pair at Marshall's for five dollars… However I tried the ones at Marshall's, I tried the fitness gear brand that they sell at Dick's( same price), and finally I found the Nike ones… Not only are these well constructed and comfortable, it's easy to put on and I could n't be happier. Thank you Nike! only con would be that these are so darn hard to find. Could n't find them in any stores or on Amazon!

I wanted some weights to wear while walking. Happened to be wandering a Dick's looking at bike clothes and saw these. Grabbed them on the spot. Not too heavy, not too light. Really like the thumb hole. I apparently have skinny wrists so closing them tightly was a problem until I just added wristbands underneath. I 'm a slightly OCD dork so the wristbands I got were Nike, as well. A little higher priced than I would have liked, but I 've grown to think they 're worth it.

I bought these hoping to enhance my runs and tone my arms. Well first thing I realized, 2. 5 lbs is a lot heavier than I thought. I knew I would not be able to sustain running with these on... however, I decided I would keep them and just wear them around the house or work. I love them! They are heavy enough to feel like your working your arms but light enough to still be functional. I 've been wearing them a few hours a day and I can definitely tell when I take them off that my muscles have been worked. They are a bit loose on the wrists as other people stated but they still serve their purpose. Would definitely recommend!

[ These are so worth the price tag! I used to use ankle weights filled with sand and they felt so bulky/uncomfortable. The bala weights can basically be customized to fit your ankle for comfort. You can barely tell they ’ re on, unless you ’ re doing ground work. 10/10 recommend and I can ’ t wait to try other products!

MMA wrist weights are designed to enhance strength training and improve endurance during workouts. They add extra resistance to your movements, which can help build muscle and increase the intensity of your training sessions. These weights are particularly useful for athletes looking to improve their striking power and overall performance.
Choosing the right weight for MMA wrist weights depends on your fitness level and training goals. Beginners may want to start with lighter weights to ensure proper form and avoid injury, while more experienced athletes can opt for heavier weights to challenge themselves. It's important to gradually increase the weight as your strength improves.
Yes, MMA wrist weights can be used for a variety of workouts beyond martial arts training. They are effective for strength training, cardio exercises, and even rehabilitation workouts. Incorporating wrist weights into your routine can enhance the effectiveness of movements such as walking, jogging, or performing resistance exercises.
MMA wrist weights are commonly made from a combination of durable fabrics and materials that provide comfort and flexibility. Many feature adjustable straps to ensure a secure fit, while the weights themselves may be filled with sand, iron, or other materials to provide the necessary resistance. This combination helps to ensure that they can withstand rigorous training sessions.
MMA wrist weights can be suitable for a range of fitness levels, but it's important to select the appropriate weight based on your individual strength and experience. Beginners should start with lighter weights to focus on form and technique, while more advanced users can use heavier weights to increase the challenge. Always listen to your body and adjust as needed.
Using MMA wrist weights can significantly enhance your workout performance by increasing resistance during movements, which helps to build strength and endurance. This added weight can also improve your coordination and stability, as your body works harder to control the extra load. Over time, this can lead to improved athletic performance and better results in your training.
