Had been playing the 2025 Elyte driver and while at golf galaxy simulator I decided to test the Ping 440k against it. The Ping is significantly straighter and I was getting about 10 yards further so I traded in. Have now used it on the course twice and am very happy I made the trade. As others have noted, most drives have been in the fairway compared to about half of them when I used the Elyte. The added distance of about 10 yards or so is a plus as well.

I tried every “ major name brand ” driver( the ones that spend a good deal on advertisements) at Golf Galaxy and compared the the 11 year old driver I had in my bag, saw no appreciable difference. Before I left the store I decided to try the Wilson. I am certainly glad I did. For whatever reason, it does my swing so well. I have always been a huge Wilson fan, but this driver is next level! It is, by far, the best driver I have hit. It is n't magical, you still need to hit the shot, but it is so forgiving and it crushes the ball. I have only hit it at the range, but the distance was so good, they asked me to stop! I have yet to take it out on the course, but I am excited to do so. If I can transfer the length and the accuracy to the course, it will be a true game changer. This is one of the best deals in golf. If you are considering it, do it. The club does not disappoint. I am hitting the 9 degree in a stiff shaft.

[ I had 2 rounds on a simulator with this so far. On average I 'm hitting overall 10 yards farther then my old driver. Still getting use to this Driver my common miss now is a push straight right, It is n't slicing just a straight right push that will still go 260 yards just 40 yards offline. I 'm not the one that continually hits center my miss on the face is towards heal and I ca n't believe the ball is still traveling 240 to 250 when the same miss with my old driver will go about 220.

I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.

I was fitted with this driver and although it was a bit pricey I gave it a go! I love this driver. My shot grouping on the simulator was tight as well it was on the golf course since I had the opportunity to play 2 rounds with it. Not one tee shot with this driver went out of bounds. On the simulator, I did n't register a lot of distance but knew with the grouping this driver fit my game. It's not always distance needed to focus on but for it to set you for that approach shot just had me blown away. I knew I would work it out to get the distance I needed and it did. I ended up increasing my loft to 12 degrees and the weight set at full draw+ and abracadabra! I am getting my distance back and finding the fairway! Will did a great job of having me try out many other drivers but this driver fit my swing and fits my game. I am grateful! It was money well spent in my bag because I can confidently get off the tee box with this driver! Quit worrying about distance and look at your grouping. Once you are pegged with this driver, you 'll get the distance you need and will be able to stay on the fairway! What more can an amateur golfer ask for? The Ping G440 SFT is a great fit for this golf who once slices but now has a power fade to a draw! The forgiveness??? I could n't ask for better forgiveness on any other driver because this driver proves it! I 'm ready to give this a go on my Sunday golf team!

My wife bought me the new Qi35 Standard driver, but I went in to Golf Galaxy to hit all 3 models to see which fit my game the best. They set me up with the same shaft in each of the drivers and let me hit into the launch monitors until I had made my decision. After reviewing all 3 with numerous hits, it was clear the LS was the best fitting club for my swing. I really like the carbon fiber top and the shape of this clubhead. I 'm 76 years old and swing speed is not as good as when I was younger, however, I still swing at 90+ mph and had no trouble getting ball in the air. My dispersion was middle left with slight draw. My new Paradym Ai smoke Max D was definitely an improvement from last year ‘s model. Being a senior newer golfer with some medical issues, I found that the Max D driver was more forgiving and much improved dispersion off the tee. Upon making contact, there was a clear, crisp sound that was not overwhelming.

WOW. I traded in my GBB driver for the AI Smoke Max D Fast Driver but I found it was just too light, and I just did n't hit it as solid as I had hoped. After speaking with the Callaway rep, I swapped it for the AI Smoke Max D Driver( not ultra light- more normal weight) and I LOVE it. I have hit the longest drives I 've ever had on my local golf course. I typically have a fade so thought maybe the 'D' would offset that and make my drives straighter. It is fabulous and you can adjust it as well. I did n't really think a driver would make that much of a difference but this one definitely does. Even if I do n't hit it perfectly, it is better than my really good drives with my GBB. Even my golfing friends have commented and asked me what I changed!

Got custom fitted for my driver. Rob did a great job of going through all the different shaft and club head options, actually got to see how all the options translated to results. Then went thru the same process with a Ping and a Taylor Made driver. The Titleist was the clearly superior choice.
