[ This is my new go- to lightweight jacket, it's so versatile! The oversized fit makes it super comfortable to wear either on it's own or as a layering piece when more warmth is needed. The zipper and zipper pulls are also surprisingly sturdy and great quality for being a very light weight jacket. The design of the jacket is super cool and interesting, there's a few handfuls of design elements that make it stand out more than just a plain black jacket- definitely looks very modern with the color blocking of a very dark grey and black fabric, and the subtle Nike logo stitched in black on the back. The fabric has a windbreaker feel to it, which can be a little noisy during a run, but I prefer it as protection against weather elements. The weather has not been cooperating for me to test this jacket out with long runs( spring, where are you?!) but I have taken a few short walks/runs while wearing it and absolutely love it. I love how thin and lightweight the jacket is while still providing warmth and comfort. I love the oversized fit and design elements. The only thing I personally would have added would be a hood but still think it's great without one.

[ I 'm very impressed by this jacket! It will be a perfect spring jacket for when the weather starts to warm up. I was between either a medium or large( I 'm 5ft4in and 155 lbs for reference) and went with the large but I think a medium would work for me if I wanted less of an oversized look. I like the black/gray/reflective design, there's details you do n't even notice at first glance like the reflective `` Nike '' above one pocket. The fabric feels like it will be perfect protection from the chill of the wind on a sporting day! And I love the 2 way zipper and the spacious pockets! I think the only tub i would change would be to put zippers on the pockets so items could stay secure. Overall I think it's a great jacket that will be versatile, from going for a run, to running errands!

[ I recently purchased a Men ’s Ether DriClime Hoody and I must say, it ’s just the ticket. Love the orange color. It fits great—I ’ m 6 ’ 3 ” and 175 lbs and the large was perfect. Here in Colorado it will be a great 3 season outer piece and good for layering in the cold, especially with the hoody. I use it for running, cross country skiing, going for walks or as a base layer. It has a slight stretch which makes it so movable- I just love it!

I have been wearing different versions of this jacket since 1999!!! The combination of being windproof with just a little insulation is PERFECT for so many activities! Because the outer material isn ’ t really connected to the inside, the jacket has an unexpected loftiness,& is WAY warmer than you ’ d think it would be…but at the same time doesn ’ t get too hot??? There was one version( windshirt) that even had small perforations in the armpits which was AWESOME. I live in Colorado,& I wear this piece for everything from an outer layer on cold spring and fall days, to a mid layer for low output activities. I even used to use one for snowboarding. My only complaint is that they only make the hooded version now. For me, nothing else I ’ ve tried really competes with this thing. Please don ’ t ever stop making it!!!

I love this jacket.. I was previously a ski- patroller, so I ’ m sort of an outdoor clothing junkie. It ’s the perfect fall and spring jacket IMO. To combine a super lightweight windbreaker and super soft micro- fleece liner, with close wrist ends and synchable waist plus three zippered pockets is genius I think. Seeming simple- but I have not found anything like this from other clothing companies. It ’s super versatile and a great west coast “ traveling/ hiking/ camping jacket ”. I had an earlier version of this jacket in grey without the hood which I loved( bring back the hood less option and offer it in more colors!) and lost it( on a plane I think).. I was looking for a lightweight jacket that was n't too bulky but would provide warmth and protection from the wind and rain. This is the perfect jacket. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it. I 'm 5 feet tall and 102 pounds. The Small fits great. I can wear the jacket over a couple of layers or a single layer and it works great. I really like this jacket so far. I am 6' 2 '' around 205- 210 and I bought the XL. I think this fits well if not a bit long in the arms. The jacket sleeves do down a bit past my knuckles and the back extends down pretty far, but its the perfect length to still have coverage on my back if I am bent forward( biking) or if I reach above my head. I guess that's what you want in a rain jacket, although if I lose a bit of weight I fear this jacket may become too baggy. The sleeves are velcro so they can be tightened in order to not droop down past your wrists.

I purchased this specifically for the Breck Epic Mountain Bike Race. This is a 6 day mountain bike race that takes you high into the alpine for extended periods of time around Breckenridge Colorado. I needed a jacket that was light and packed down small but offered good protection and breathability during aerobic riding. This jacket checked all the boxes and I was so glad I had this jacket when the clouds opened up during one of the stages this year. The temperatures dropped rapidly and it was heavy downpour conditions for an extended period of time. [ I 've been a fan of Showers Pass rain gear for a long time, and this jacket is just my most recent edition. Very thoughtfully designed with MTB in mind. The vents keep you cool when working hard. The detachable hood is a great option, once you figure out where to stash it so it does n't get lost. The sleeves cinch up just right so you can regulate air flow or totally lock it out. The reinforced shoulders are great for those long days out on the mountain. I 'd read in one review that it is n't packable, but I 've been able to fit my medium into a fanny pack no problem. Last, the attached microfiber cloth for lens cleaning is super useful. My chest size suggested a small would work, and it did fit my chest, but my arm length needed the medium. The jacket fits trim and is not too baggy.

[ Now, caveat- I live in AL and 50 degrees is cold riding weather to me. That being said, this jacket blocks out the wind and keeps me comfortable without being a bulky hindrance. As for fit, it ’s cycling clothing, it ’s supposed to be fitted. I found this to be perfect; not compression tight and not flopping in the wind.

[ I have had it now for about 2 months. A couple things.... I am 5 ’ 7 ” and 170 the jacket fits great it is long for my height but how I prefer it. Very light weight but perfect for the in between weather. Comfortable in 50 deg with a t shirt underneath and 35 with a few layers underneath. So far I have been in 4 rains, being stuck outside for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Kept me dry.
