I normally wear shoes that don ’ t stand out, but these shoes with their bright white leather, shiny Nike logos, and blue trim along the bottom make me proud to wear a shoe that does stand out. I feel instantly younger wearing these cool looking shoes. The fit of the shoes is very comfortable. They are surprisingly roomy in the toe box even though they look slender in this area. I ’ ve worn them all day, but primarily on days where I ’ m not on my feet all day. I suspect they wouldn ’ t be comfortable if I was on my feet all day such as at a theme park or a zoo. I suspect this based on the arch support being slightly less than I would like, and the midsole cushion not being quite as cushiony as I would like for a day completely on my feet on pavement. With that said, these shoes are still very comfortable to wear for your typical day. They are not too hot, which was a concern since they have completely leather uppers. The shoe interior is well cushioned and didn ’ t create any rubs on my foot. The heel feels slightly loose, but not to the point where it feels like your heel is sliding around or going to get a blister. I felt well supported in these shoes, and the tread seems to have great grip. I ’ m very pleased with these shoes and would recommend them to anyone looking for a hip new athletic casual shoe to wear. They have great style and also great comfort. The retro tread style reminds me of something my grandparents wore, but in a way that doesn ’ t make me feel old, but instead trendy. The only thing I would maybe change is the tread pattern. It provides fantastic grip, but it also appears to have great grip for keeping mud in the tread. I will need to make sure I wear these on dry days or pavement to prevent mud for getting stuck in the tread grooves. That is a minor annoyance, and all in all I think these are great shoes. Well done Nike!

These are the kind of kicks that make you wan na plan your outfit around them. Fit: So here ’s the deal — I usually go up half a size in certain Nike shoes. My usual size( 7. 5W) was all that was left, so I grabbed it. While they don ’ t run small exactly, I do think a half- size up might ’ ve felt even better for me personally. If you ’ re in between sizes or like a bit more wiggle room, I ’ d say try going up half a size. Comfort: Haven ’ t fully broken them in yet, but they already feel pretty solid. Will update if anything changes once I ’ ve worn them all day, but so far, so good. Style/Looks: These are a statement shoe. The denim gives them a whole vibe that stands out in the best way. I really like this because of the safety feature it provides if you decide to wear these at night and it looks really neat when you take pictures with the flash on! There are so many details about this shoe. Every time you look at them you see something different and unique. The materials used are excellent, I really like the mesh that is all around the shoe to help keep your feet cool while wearing. The ankle and tongue of the shoe have a good amount of padding but doesn ’ t go overboard where it makes the rest of the shoe look smaller in comparison. I love how the swoosh extends out on both sides and has a smooth but hard polished finish too it. The V5 is a great shoe to workout in and wear for errand running after the gym. [ My son really likes these shoes. He almost exclusively wears Nike as a very sporty and outdoorsy kid and these shoes did not disappoint despite being a new style for him. They have great traction on the bottom of the shoe, more so than some of his other Nike shoes, which allows for more movement- always a positive in these summer months. The color isn ’ t too black( intentionally has a more faded/washed out look) and the material makes the black feel more muted, which I actually enjoy but some people might not. I appreciate the rear foot stability provided by the deep snug heel counter. I got a great fit by removing the insoles to insert my custom full length foot orthotics. A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘ touch ’. They have a cool classic look. These days in Nike, I am either a Men ’s 11 or 11. 5 Medium. The 11. 5 is just right- with thin socks, like the Nike Spark socks.

The shoes themselves are a little wider which is perfect for me but I could see being an issue if you have narrow feet. Great shoe. Very comfortable and easy to wear. Didn ’ t have to break them in. These would be great for the gym on weight training days. The only down side to them was the toe box got creased a lot on the first day of wearing them and started showing signs of wear immediately but I will be buying a brew more pairs. I possibly could have gone down half a size.
