I bought two of these and keep thinking about buying more. I use this chair most frequently at dispersed campgrounds where I want to be able to quickly take items in while I 'm away from the site. I got a second one because it's so compact and easy to have on hand for friends who do n't have as much camping gear. More often than not, I 'm wishing that I had another one or two because people always seem to underestimate how nice it is to bring chairs camping and they co- opt my seat when I get up. Several friends have bought this chair after using my extra one. The convenience factor really grows on people by the second time we camp together. They want their own to toss in their camping gear bins. You do n't have to remember about packing a more luxurious chair that does n't even fit in the bin and then it taking up more space in the trunk. It's not the most cushioned chair in the world, but its still a good one to add to the arsenal. The points to attach the seat to the frame are very stiff for the first dozen or so uses, but it gets more pliable in time without becoming so pliable that it's concerning.

The arm rests are adjustable with a cord in the back and the cup holder even have little holes in the bottom so if you spill a drink in them you don ’ t have to worry about it standing and growing mold. The back has 3 levels of recline which are easily adjusted by pulling out the pin and sliding the bar upwards. Another great bonus is that there is a storage pouch on the back of the chair which is removable by unzipping it from the chair if you need to take your belongings with you when if you decide to explore. I ordered some different rocking chairs last week and tried them. First I preferred one bigger, wider and higher than the Nemo. I thought it would be easier for a tall person to get in/out. Strangely I found myself always using the Nemo b e c a us e its low …. it makes me feel secure and grounded. Usually I can not be high enough above the ground. But in the higher chairs( over 50cm) you need a foot/legrest to be comfortable. The Nemo works well without, even though it would be nice to have this option. The only small complain I have is, the fabric starts to wrinkle a bit in your lower back when going in stargazer- position. But all in all its a wonderful well engineered rocking chair with hammockfeel. I ‘ m immediately at peace when taking a seat in my Nemo. So I just ordered two more as birthday- presents, cause every loved one should experience this feeling.

[ I am not a dedicated lightweight backpacker. I have carried many of heavy loads. However, I am planning on hiking the Long Trail in Vermont. I am trying to lighten my load. One thing that is a must in my pack is a chair. I used to always take a Crazy Creek chair, but they don ’ t pack up very small. That is where this chair shines! Not only is it lightweight, it packs up incredibly small. It also gets me off the ground a little bit! Best yet is that despite its lightweight features, it is VERY sturdy! [ I needed traveling chairs for my sons ’ swim meets that were light, compact and easy to fold, quick drying and a shorter profile for an 8 and 10 year old. These chairs seem to fit the bill. My boys were able to fold and carry them easily( parents aren ’ t allowed close to the pool), they don ’ t take up too much room so I can fit two easily into the car, the fabric doesn ’ t seem to absorb water so I can pack them up quickly and not have to worry about air drying before packing and storing and my boys thought they were very comfortable. [ I have camping chairs and the best feature is that there is a cupholder. This chair has a Side table with a storage pouch underneath it. On the other side is another pouch with additional pockets, storage pouches that can hold anything you need to be comfortable while out at a concert, a campsite, ball game. And the chair is also nice to sit in with great back support. You will not be disappointed.

Folds into a backpack and on your back it goes. This thing has pockets galore! Large pocket on the back, on the inner side, multiple on the outer side. Shelves! Yes, I said a shelves! You can store all your stuff and do n't really have to get up for anything, you'llhave everythingat arm's reach. On the right side there's also a small table that folds up and has a cup holder for your drink. Ya' know, the drinks that you brought in the attached cooler. That's right! It comes with a detachable cooler! I 'm telling you, I 'm impressed at everything this chair has. If that was n't enough, it has a loop for an umbrella, so you can have some shade without trying to figure out a way to hold it up. It holds it up pretty well. Overall, I think this is the perfect chair for a bbq, the beach, park, and camping. You wo n't regret getting one.

As a father of two very active children in sports, these chairs are the bees knees. Comfortable to sit in for an hour plus, lightweight, and easy to tote around from game to game. I have several of these chairs and will not go to any other style. The fact you can rock easily in these chairs is great for the tense dad on the side of the soccer field or softball field. We have 2 of these that we bought about 2 years ago. We still LOVE them! I love that they rock and the high back makes it SO comfortable and relaxing! It did take me a little while to figure out how to to collapse them, but in fairness, I didn ’ t pay attention to directions and still figured it out!! They easily go back in the included carry bag! Now I just need them to make a 15- 18 ” high foot stool to complete the experience!!

The GCI Outdoor Roadtrip Rocker is an excellent chair that sits on the fence between an `` A '' or a `` B ''. Just a couple extra credit assignments and it firmly passes with straight A's. This chair is very comfortable and does a surprisingly good job as a rocking chair. The back is tall enough to lean back and feel supported. It is wide enough be bundled up in blankets and still have room. There are two things I 'd like have changed slightly. If you are sitting up to a table, or even just forward on the chair it is a bit too relaxed. Lastly, be prepared for a fairly large item when folded. Getting all this comfort into a bag poses a big challenge. Well done GCI!

[ These are wonderful and SO comfy! It's incredible how they go to a fully laying position, gets you a little worried at first that they will tip over. But we fully enjoyed the first test in the living room, which ended up being a party for all the pets too.
