I bought this for my daughter ’s school camping trip for the the last week of April so it was still relatively cold at night and early morning hours in the mountains of California. We love the north face brand for our outerwear so I splurged a little on getting our daughter a good quality sleeping bag and this definitely did not disappoint!

[ I had my own Kelty and my kids had other bags. My son stole my bag while we were camping at Waldo Lake so I used his and I nearly froze to death. I felt so bad he had such an awful bag! I had no idea!!! So I got him and his twin sister bags that match mine and last night we slept in them and it was DREAMY. Love them!!

[ Bought this bag as a lightweight down alternative to my synthetic bag. I love this style of bag so it was a no brainer. My first test on my living room floor resulted in a 2 hour nap. I like that i have room to move my legs or toss and turn, and that you can attach 2 of them together( ill be buying another). Great bag if the mummy style bag isnt right for you.

I heard great reviews on this ordered it and I was amazed at the quality for the price. This is built just as good if not better then higher prices gear. Kelty never disappoints!

[ Just took this bag on a 12 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Mew Mexico. On the nights when the temperatures dipped into the 30s, this bag kept me very comfortable when zipped up properly. On warmer nights, I unzipped the bag about 30 percent to let a little air in. The best part was that the bag is extremely light and compress down very small in a compression sack to take up very little room in my backpack and could even be clipped on to the outside of the pack without any noticeable swinging while I hiked.

[ I was n't sure how this bag would work out, but so far it's super. It really is designed as described. It's quite roomy, allows one to turn and side sleep and is definitely warm enough. The best part is that my Standard Manchester Terriers( one or both) can snuggle in as well. That was the whole point of the purchase. They do n't fit as well in my other bags but they are fine in this one.

[ I finally got out camping this past weekend in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Overnight lows were 32 degrees. I did also use a sleeping bag liner because I was afraid I might be cold. But I was very comfortable all night long. I actually stayed in the tent from 9PM to 9AM.

[ I 'm a side sleeper so this for sure caught my attention. I have n't used it out on the trail yet but from testing around the house, it appears to be a great buy. Super comfy, nice and light, feels very warm and just a quality overall product. The only knock from a 5- star review right now is it does feel a bit snug. Wish I had a little more room around the shoulders. I am not a overly big guy, just a little thicker than the average 5' 8 '' male.

[ The bag was comfortable, but temps got down to 31 degrees and could not stay warm. My sleeping pad is an r value of 7 so I stayed warm underneath but froze on top. They say it ’s a snap free zipper but is surely not. Snagged far too many times for me. I returned this bag.

[ I bought this bag for tent and car camping in down to 30s temps. My 650 down fill bag did not cut it for me, so I went for the 800 Dridown bag. I am so glad I did! I 'm an athletic built 5' 4 ''( 120 lb) female, 65 y/o and this bag is perfect fit for me. I like the extra room at the feet. I have room to roll on my side if I wish.# 1, It's as warm as my 800 down fill coat and stays puffy because of the small percentage of added fill. I have n't tested it, but it's the small portion of polyester fill that makes this bag dryer than a full down bag. I found out how important it is for the bag to dry out after sleeping in a rain soaked tent which is reason# 2 for buying this great Kelty bag. This is a fantastic bag all around. The zippers work very well and have a protective ledge to run on so they do n't snag in either direction. The head piece cinches well around my head, if needed. It even comes with a stuff sack made of similar material. My only wish is that it came with a mesh storage sack. Otherwise, this is a perfect and dreamy bag!

[ Used this in the Tetons for a couple weeks, mid- end of September. Temps at night were anywhere from upper 20s to upper 30s. I never got cold. It weighed 2lbs, 6oz like advertised. [ Bought this on sale because I needed a lower temp rated bag for cold desert nights. Used so far in the upper 30's and was very toasty( needed to vent). I 'm a very cold sleeper. [ The Men's Never Summer 0° Sleeping Bag( 2024) is an excellent entry- level down sleeping bag that offers a great balance of warmth, quality, and affordability. For those looking for a reliable cold- weather sleeping bag without breaking the bank, this is one of the best options available. Filled with 650- fill- power down, it provides excellent insulation while remaining lightweight and compressible, making it easy to pack for winter camping, mountaineering, or cold- weather backpacking. The water- resistant down treatment helps maintain warmth even in damp conditions, and the draft tube and hood effectively seal in heat on frigid nights. For the price, it ’s hard to beat the performance and comfort this bag offers. Whether you 're new to winter camping or looking for a solid, budget- friendly down sleeping bag, the Never Summer 0° is a fantastic choice!

I 've used this sleeping bag for cool nights on a multiday raft trip down the Wild and Scenic Rogue River and several trailheads before big ski mountaineering objectives in the PNW. It's a great blend of lightweight and warmth needed for cool nights under the stars. I really like the expanding lower section for my bog feet( sz 15) and ability to store extra gear or clothing that might need to stay warm. The side zips work quite well to allow for easy extraction when needed. The length worked great for me at 6' 5 ''. Lots of compliments on the poppy stripes. Before purchasing this sleeping bag, I too often fell asleep on my couch in front of the TV. Nothing wrong with that, but with temperatures beginning to drop at night I would be awakened by being chilled. Since this is a lightweight bag it's perfect an indoor snooze in front of the woodburning stove. Something about a `` sleeping bag '' makes for a comfortable, secure nap.

[ Leveled up from my old synthetic sleeping bag to down and am super happy so far. It ’s so cozy and packs down small. I love that there ’s room for me to turn any which way and curl my legs up in this bag, it is much less constricting than a typical mummy bag. I did find that the bag didn ’ t really move with me the way I expected it to for side sleeping, so I found the hood section kind of in my way at some points. It wasn ’ t too cold so I just kept my head out and used that part as a pillow of sorts. I did also notice a bit of shedding of feathers and hope that will remain minimal over time. So far I ’ ve used it for two nights in about 40deg weather and was very warm.

[ This sleeping bag is well made and very functional. Zippers work well and are easy to use. And of course, it's very light, which is the primary reason I got it. I 'd definitely buy again.

I would for sure recommend it to others, especially if you need to keep warm! ... Perfect for my light hiking/camping use! ... Fantastic and light weight! ... I was surprised how big of a case it came in but, was happy to note that a more compact bag was included and it does shrink down

[ As far a synthetic sleeping bags go, this one seems good for the price! We constructed& designed. On first use, I do not expect that this sleeping bag will actually perform well at its comfort rating, so if you 're considering doing some serious winter camping, I would opt for a down sleeping bag maybe.

I 've had many sleeping bags in 50 years of Scouting and this one was fabulous. It was light, compressable and very warm. Zipper was flawless. I paired it with a Reactor liner to provide comfort to even lower temperatures.

I 'm not a hardcore backpack adventurer or anything, but I do love motorcycle camping, so I was looking for a low pack- volume sleeping bag that was n't outrageously expensive. I 'm also 6' 1 '', 210 lbs. so I needed something roomy enough for me to be comfortable. This bag is super comfortable. It's soft and warm and packs down nice and small for stowing in my bike's luggage. I do n't know why the reviewer Adam from Germany said it was impossible to get it back into the stuff sack, because I find it to be quite easy to get it back into the sack. It literally takes me about 60 seconds to roll the bag up and stuff it in the sack. I will say that if the temps drop into the 40s or lower, you 're going to need a bit more than this bag can offer, so I 'm going to get the liner to add that 10- 15 degrees in case it gets a little chillier when I 'm camping. But down into the 50s( Fahrenheit), with socks and sweats, I was toasty and slept great.

I bought this bag to replace my 20 year old bag which was rated at 20 degrees and served me well. The trailhead is significantly lighter, quality made, the zipper setup allows for good ventilation and packs well.

[ `` Do n't fence me in '' as the song goes, and this awesome bag does NOT! Large zippered foot box allows my feet to be free! Zippered side vents for air, sweet air!! Snaps at shoulders that hold the bag( and excellent liner) up so you can make breakfast!!!! The hood is so cozy!! You will be able to customize your sleeping just like at home!! Leg out is too cold, but just the foot is perfect!!

[ I brought this bag on the Camino de Santiago. It gave me plenty of warmth when the temperatures dropped down to 40F without making me feel overheated in warmer temps. I love this sleeping bag. I slept in it with very minimal padding underneath and it cushioned the ground pretty well. It also kept me very warm all night. I can easily say I woke up the next morning feeling 100%. No back pain, wasn ’ t cold, etc. It ’s also pretty big so it fits me with lots of extra space for another person or even my dog to sleep under it with me. Only thing I will add is I did camp with it in the summer, so I can ’ t speak to the other seasons just yet as far as how warm it will keep you. But I plan to use it again this Fall and I think it will be fine. I truly would recommend this sleeping bag!

For the below reviewer I 'm about the same height as you and got the long, my girlfriend is a little taller and she got the long as well. For my height the long is like the deep end of a pool, but on very cold nights it's essential to be able to put things you do n't want to freeze( water bottles, clothes, boots in a plastic bag, etc) down in the bottom of the bag. Will want to test that out though since all that weight might cause the bottom of the bag to flop around. Overall I 'd recommend you exchange it for the long if possible. The included green sack is quite huge for backpacking. It does pack down quite small so try using a smaller sack, it 'll make it much easier to pack it. The bag was tested out inside of a leanto during an unceasing barrage of 55+mph winds. We were huddled in the corner, a makeshift tarp mostly sealing us off from the brunt of the wind. It honestly was n't too cold( below freezing for sure but maybe high- mid 20s at coldest) but even in base layers we were very warm. Still have to see how it does in teens/single digits but I do n't think it 'll have much problem as long as it's paired with a good sleeping pad. Overall.. at 4lbs 3oz this is a heavy bag, but for the price this bag offers a LOT of loft/down, and consequently an insane amount of warmth. I do have some concerns about the quality of the zipper, and if you 're an active sleeper the zipper can be a little annoying since not much stops it from coming loose.

[ Really warm and great fit for woman. Wife has never been warm camping before. She woke up in the middle of the night confused with what she was feeling. It was the fact that she was warm, maybe even hot. A very strange feeling for her while camping.

[ The 0 Degree Women's Sleeping Bag exceeded my expectations in every way. Its exceptional insulation will keep me warm and comfortable even in the coldest temperatures. The bag's design is not only practical but also tailored for women, providing a snug fit that enhances warmth retention without sacrificing comfort. The high- quality materials and craftsmanship speak to its durability, making it a reliable companion for any cold- weather camping or backpacking trip. I am 5' 8 '' and got the long version and the length is perfect! I highly recommend it to any adventurous woman seeking a reliable and cozy solution for sub- zero temperatures.

[ This bag is really warm and looks great, used it the first time out in about 25- 30degrees and stayed nice and toasty. It has really good shoulder space, and awesome how you can expand the foot box to give some more leg room. I always get twisted up in tighter bags like this, so the foot expander is key. Only real complaint is that I wish it packed down a bit smaller, or came with a strong compression stuff sack. Took up a bit more space in the backpack than I would have liked. Overall great product!
