A great friend for those who want to improve groundstrokes, volleys etc... when you do n't control your working schedule, or no one is around to play with. Remote control is not a must but surely saves you some minutes. Suggest 100 balls so you can count the shots missed and figure your percentage. Load balls in a way most will stay in the upper part of basket. This way you 'll prevent a bigger number of balls from satying in the basket as it empties. The all around court feature offers better result when machine is placed in one extreme side of singles marks( or doubles). If you place it in the middle, most balls will fall out of court either in on side or the other due to angle. If you are not used to play a lot, take it slow in order to prevent tenniselbow or armstress, which will cause you not to be able to practice for a few days. Take notes of best positions of ball machine, speed and height angle so that you do n't have to go through it again next time you practice. Ball hopper IS A MUST! And cones can assist you to aim at right places. So far I have improved my backhand more than anything else, but surely will practice my forehand too. Great machine!!

As I stated in the review headline, for an inexpensive sort of `` bottom of the line '' Rawlings ball, it's actually quite nice. The synthetic/ness of it feels authentic like. Feels pretty good in your hand, able to grip it well. Good for just tossing the ball around, practice.

I bought this ball in December of 2022. I 've used it for over a year and a half and it's held up amazingly. I 've played/trained on turf, grass and concrete and the surface of the ball is very durable. Durability is a big factor when I 'm deciding to choose a ball, and for this price point I ca n't complain. The material is durable and not bad to the touch when dribbling on concrete and turf. I did notice that while dribbling the ball can be sticky compared to others in the same price point. I had complaints about it being too hard of a ball, but personally that did n't bother me much. There are other balls with cushion if comfort is more important to you. However, I did n't find it to be uncomfortable when hitting long shots or long passes. Overall review is that it is a great ball for durability on all surfaces, and a great ball for training and recreational games. If you want higher quality or similar balls that are in higher level competitions, then you might be better off purchasing a competition tier ball( not the pro ball) that way you can train with something that is similar to what you play with in a match.
