Really love how fast it heats up compared to charcoal and wood. Will be trying a few things like baking bread. Being able to control the temp is a must. Didn ’ t have any issues with the burner staying lit as described in other reviews. you def have to hold the knob for 5 seconds, I ’ m assuming there is some kind of thermocouple that permits the gas to stay on? Got the oven up to 880° with the flu open so it should hit 900°+ with it closed.

[ I love baking my pizzas with wood. However, gas is a way more practical and clean solution. The gas burner works very well, is easy to operate, and easier to control the temperature.

[ Been using wood and charcoal for a couple of years- but in the winter the oven never gets hot enough. The burner installed easily and worked great to get a nice hot oven that made amazing pizzas. Have to use it more and learn to regulate the temp up and down- but really loved the burner and the output

Game changer. I stopped using my Karu for a while because I got lazy about burning wood. I still prefer wood, of course, but this is so easy!!! I ’ m still learning to control the heat for other foods- didn ’ t nail my tomahawk- but I know I ’ ll figure it out. Very happy with this addition!

[ I can ’ t even use this thing on full blast since it puts out so much heat. Does the job well with my Karu 12

[ This part is a must have if you ’ re planning on doing several pizzas. It ’s too hard to manage the firebox for long term use and keep everyone eating pizzas consecutively.

[ Works as it should. Can get back of stone up to 850°, front low 7s. Have been using in pretty cool temps so that may make a difference. Recommended to keep front door off makes it a little harder to heat I would imagine. Satisfied overall though- it ’s quick and easy if you don ’ t feel like messing with wood.

[ We love our Karu12. We had a different one before, and the flame was so difficult to manage. This is simple, easy to use and produces consistent results. You do have to manage the flame, which is easy, but we haven ’ t burned one yet.

When selecting a replacement burner for your outdoor cooker, consider the compatibility with your existing stove model, the type of fuel it uses, and the burner’s heat output. Additionally, look for features such as durability and resistance to weather elements, as these can impact performance during outdoor use. Ensuring the burner fits securely and provides even heat distribution is also crucial for optimal cooking results.
To determine compatibility, check the specifications of your outdoor cooker, including the model number and dimensions of the existing burner. Manufacturers often provide compatibility charts or guidelines for replacement parts. If in doubt, consult customer service or product manuals for assistance in finding the right burner for your specific cooker.
Replacement burners for outdoor cookers are typically made from materials such as stainless steel, cast iron, or aluminum. Stainless steel is favored for its resistance to rust and corrosion, while cast iron offers excellent heat retention and durability. Aluminum is lightweight and can provide quick heating, making it a popular choice for portable cookers.
Yes, many replacement burners are designed to accommodate various outdoor cooking methods, including grilling, boiling, and baking. However, it's important to ensure that the burner is suitable for the specific cooking style you intend to use. Check the burner’s specifications for versatility in heat settings and compatibility with different cooking accessories.
Upgrading to a higher-performance replacement burner can enhance your outdoor cooking experience by providing faster heat-up times and more consistent cooking temperatures. High-performance burners often feature advanced designs that improve fuel efficiency and reduce cooking times. Additionally, they may offer better wind resistance, making them ideal for outdoor environments.
