[ There is n't much to this Max Plus Cooling Towel. The fabric type is patented and activates its cooling feature quite easily. The instructions state that you should wet the towel, wring it out, and then `` snap '' it( like you might with a beach or bath towel). [ I recently bought a bunch of sunblock hoodies and have been wearing this a lot more than the others so far this summer, I love it! I 've been hit with skin cancer on my face twice now so trying to find ways to cover up when I 'm outside that do n't require me to bath in sunblock lotion. For context: I live in Arkansas and it's been super hot& humid. We 're currently in the upper 90's/lower 100's with pretty high humidity- dew points in the 70- 75 range most days. For that kind of weather this is the by far the most comfortable of the 3 other sun blocking hoodies I 've tried. This material is very breathable and lightweight like a tech shirt, but it fits loose and does n't show off the finer details of every fat roll I have like a tech shirt. It looks good just wearing it around. The `` activeice '' part is n't entirely obvious like wearing an air conditioner, but I noticed the other day that my exposed legs felt hotter in the sun and took longer to cool off once I got out than my arms/torso so it does seem to actually do something. If you live in a hot climate that is also humid, there is n't a better option I 've found, so just buy this. Most of the others I 've tried use some cotton- like materials that soak up humidity or they are thicker& less breathable and start to get a bit too warm when the temp hits 90's and the humidity is high. My only complaint is the collar/base of the hood. The closest pic of the hood up on OR's website you 'll find is a guy reaching back to start to pull it up, so I 'm assuming they already know the hood looks a bit funny, but sharing on the off chance they read this for next years version. I wish the hood had two sections that crossed under the chin or something similar instead of the solid strip. I do appreciate the neck coverage and it looks good when the hood is down, but when the hood is up you look like you 're in one of those face- in- hole photo boards or about to go bee- keeping. Most of my friends are master- level wisecrackers so it will have to be really sunny day before I wear this around them with the hood up. Pro- Tip: It looks better( to me at least) when wearing a hat and pulling the hood over the brim, and gives better sun protection on the sides of your face that way as well. My second minor improvement would be that it could be maybe just one inch longer, I 'm 6'00 '' and 200 lbs. The length is great for the most part but if I 'm reaching straight up it shows a bit of belly. Overall though, this is easily the winner of the bunch I 've tried for the dead heat of summer.

Love this piece so far. I 'm 6' 4 '', 250lbs and the XL fits me great. I typically need to order XLT shirts but this is sized well for me. Sleeves are good length but would n't have minded another inch. Thumb holes would have been nice. I have to maneuver a little to get it over my chest( 46 inch) but it's not a problem, just noticeable. The material has a nice stretch to it. Might have a shirt on underneath or nothing under depending on temperature and wind. Love the hood fit with or without a hat. Zipped up the hood stays on well. Zippers work well. I 've washed it several times now and the material and color still look new. Washing on delicate and hang dry. I like it so much I might get another.

So far I have only used this jacket for spring( alpine) skiing, at which it has been amazing! With temperatures in the low to mid 40s at the top this jacket, along with OR Trailbreaker pants and Gripper gloves, was warm enough, with just enough wind protection for riding the lifts and skiing fast, but breathable enough to prevent me from get sweaty and catching a chill. With temps below that I threw on an ultra- light softshell and was plenty warm.( Note that 1. I run warm when working hard and 2. I wear a hydration pack while skiing, without which it is possible my back would 've been chilly sitting on the lift) And it fits( size S, I am 5' 6 '' 145lbs) perfectly and looks great even just around town. So far one of my favorite items by OR( and I 've got quite a few of them) Looking forward to using this for snowshoeing, cool weather hiking etc.!

This thing rocks. Originally, I purchased this to do winter trail runs in, but have since used it to paddle, ice climb, mountain bike, backpack, and travel. I have found the Deviator to be one of the best if not the best light, active piece for me when it is chilly outside. The front/hood fabric has a good DWR and sheds light wind/rain well, while keeping just the right amount of heat in. I have found that it needs to be under 25F while running to keep myself from sweating, but with the other activities, I find it to be very comfortable in the 30- 45F range( when I am moving), even if it is windy. The zippers are a little fragile, BUT it is meant to be a lightweight piece. I have found that being patient with and keeping the zippers clean and waxed go a long way. I am a Medium/Large and bought a medium, which worked for me well. Overall, I love this piece. While it is not a replacement for a puffy, It retains way more heat than I expected for such a light jacket, especially when moving.

Man, this hoodie slaps. I primarily use it for days when it's cold but I need to get my miles in whether that be running trails/roads, snow shoeing or whatever else I do in the winter. The back is covered in what seems like waffle insulation which breaths super well so when I get hot, the excess heat has a place to go. It wicks sweat and keeps me feeling dry. The front has wind resistant panels that keeps warmth where it should be, and keeps wind out. It definitely fits snug in the arms so layering with a long sleeve base was a bit challenging considering how snug they are, but they are not too tight. I actually feel like the sleeves had a 1- 2 use break in time because now they seem more roomy and it's no longer a struggle to get a long sleeve skin tight layer on underneath. That's my experience, but not really a bad thing considering that putting on another layer over the deviator is that much easier. I absolutely love this hoodie and have ordered more in other colors. I hesitated at first due to the high cost, but this is worth it. The design keeps the wind out but lets your back and arm pit breath while running or wearing a pack. The fit is intentionally slim- fit, as the product can keep you warm that way. Paired with a base layer this keeps me warm in temperatures just below freezing while running or hiking. If it gets cold, I just throw a soft shell over this and it's perfect. I highly recommend this.

I used to be a short sleeve purist on my rides, but this material is breathable enough that I do n't get hot wearing it on sunny days. I purchased this hoodie for sun protection on a recent 9- day backpacking trip. I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Furthermore, all the bug/blood/sweat stains cleaned up nicely after the trip and it looks good as new! As for durability and wind- proofness, I will bring it on my next two canoe trips this July and report back:)

Quite happy with this version of the Astroman! Still the same great sun protection and durability but the material seems lighter/faster drying somehow. The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

The Freewheel Short Sleeve Jersey is more like a daily driver shirt over a traditional jersey. You can wear it daily for day to day tasks then hit the trail after work. The material is similar to other Outdoor Research shirts in the 2024 clothing catalog. I took the shirt for weekly rides on local trail heads in MD in spring and on the Santos Trails in FL on a work trip. The stretch is nice when you catch a sticker bush and length is nice if you have a long torso. The only con in my opinion is that a bring color would be nice for hunting seasons. I currently have the blue shirt and it looks good.

We live on a lake and near the beach a small like to go to the springs. Took this to the springs and the dry pocket keeps your phone and keys dry, our food and drinks stayed cold and the ice kept the entire day. It also floats, so when floating down the river, you can literally just strap this to the raft and it ’ ll float, so much easier than having to rent another raft and hope your cooler doesn ’ t fall off it. I recieved the 36 can cooler and i was able to fit 24 cans plus ice. We have had a mild winter where i live so i decided to fill this cooler and test it by setting it outside for 5 days. I checked on it everyday. Day 2 still had ALL ice. Day 3 it started to melt. By day 5 all ice was melted but drinks were still ICE COLD. The magnetic lid creates an insulation like no other. I believe that is the feature that kept my drinks cold for so long. The zippers well, they are tough to open however it really seals out the warm air so i can live with it. The thing that makes the zipper so difficult is that it is outlined in silicone/rubber for a tight seal so it does serve a purpose. The front pouch is perfect size for plates& cutlery. I also love the thoughtfulness of adding a bottle opener. Overall, i think this is a great cooler and i cant wait to see how it works while outside, camping in the hot summers. I would recommend.

I got the ICF60 recently and finally got a chance to use it. I set the cooler to 0F, put about 15 pounds of frozen venison in the cooler, put the cooler inside the car and headed out. Over the course of the 6 hour drive, I never heard a sound from it and I was about 2 feet from it the entire time. About an hour from my destination, I had to unplug the cooler from the cigarette lighter. When I get to my destination, the meat was still frozen and hard as a rock! The ice stays cold, I did the first test by tossing a sacrificial bag of ice in the cooler to pre- chill it but that ice only melted about 3/4 cup so had a spare bag of ice just lying around. First and foremost, this was the cheapest cooler I could find on any site with the reviews it had so I took a chance. I go car camping a lot but I have always used other peoples coolers and never owned one myself. This one is a lot lighter than I thought which was equally good and bad, I was worried about its ability but let me tell you how unfounded my worries were. I put a large and small bag of ice( about 24 lbs) in the cooler at 2pm on Saturday and camped in 88 degree weather. I wanted to test it, and for two days it sat outside directly in the sun. It is now Monday night and there is still ice. Is it mostly melted? Yes. Is it still pretty cold? Also yes. For the price I could not have asked for anything else, I feel like I got a much better cooler than what I paid for.

Needing lots of hydration while golfing in FL and KY; got this cooler and it hasn’t let me down yet. 6 rounds of golf and my drinks( water bottles- some with iced tea) have been kept cold over the typical 3. 5 to 4 hr rounds. The insulation on this cooler bag is first class! I usually put a plastic ice block in the cooler and it works great. Sometimes I’ve just placed cold drink bottles from the fridge and they are still cold a couple of hours into the round. Another great product from BagBoy. Thanks.

I put 5- 6 bottles of water along with a couple cold packs and am still drinking cold water at the end of the round in 100* weather. I fully recommend this cooler, especially if you live in warmer climates
