We bought the Yeti 65 as a family of 4 for weekend camping trips. It ’s great for storing frozen/refrigerated goods. Shortly after we bought it, we had tornados come through and knocked power out for a little over 24 hours. We immediately threw our freezer foods in the cooler without pre- cooling first. I was shocked that all of our frozen foods were still very much frozen after 24 hours without having the cooler down to temp. 10/10 recommend.

I froze about 15 pounds of meat in ziplocks, and placed in plastic cereal boxed shaped containers. and put two gallons of frozen ice jugs. With about 24 cans and condiments. We came home with a golf ball sized ice cube in the gallon jugs, and cold meat! One more gallon of ice and it would have made 6 days, no doubt. Took a stroll down the igloo aisle because it was more of my budget and was surprised to see that they were actually made in USA! This cooler has the evil out to dispense margaritas at the beach, has the fat wheels so it works on sand, a spout so I don ’ t have to disrupt my packing to get drinks out, I don ’ t have to open the cooler to get drinks out- keeping ice frozen LONGER, it has a bottle opener and a handle appropriate for pulling the cooler. It ’s also not as heavy as some brands, I can lift it to get it out of my truck when it ’s about half full by myself. The only way to make it better would be to collaborate with JBL and install a Bluetooth, waterproof speaker in it! I chose Ocean Blue and it ’s gorgeous! I live on Lake Texoma in Texas, where we spend all summer in the Texas heat out on the lake. I know coolers and have owned a lot of them; this is by far my all time favorite!!

I researched for about 2 weeks after my “ USA made ” lifetime cooler broke after a few years of lite duty. After all the reviews and research I decided on a orca cooler and guess what? I didn ’ t make a mistake I would put this on yeti level with a better warranty and being made right here in the states. My cooler came with a big scratch on top but it looks like something shipping did. Im impressed with all aspects of this cooler my favorite parts are the handles and the bag on the back all very sturdy and high quality. If I get good longevity out of this as I feel I will you guys have a life long customer.

The material on the inside is easy to wipe clean, and I love the dry storage compartment on top. Perfect for taking to the beach, park, we ’ ve even used it to bring food over to a guests house. The longest I ’ ve kept something in there has been 8 hours and everything stayed nice and cold!
