These skates are my sister's but she has gone off to college so I have been practicing skating at our local outdoor rink. Even though these are ladies skates I want to practice using her figure skates until I get good at skating. So far I really like the feel and fit of these skates and my feet never get tired. They look nice and seem to be made well. They are a bit uncomfortable as I break them in. As a young boy we could n't afford hockey skates so I always wore my sisters figure skates. Much later when I was now on my own I took back into ice skating but this time wearing men's hockey skates. The problem with the men's skates they did n't have toe picks and that was what I really missed. These Tricot Figure Skates in ladies size 11 fit me perfect and they are exactly what I needed to be able to enjoy ice skating again. It would have been nice if they came in black but I will get useto wear white figure skates again.
