Fantastic water source for camping. Kept water nice and cold for several days and provided an easy way to refill bottles and camelbaks with ice cold water for hikes. Keep in mind that 8 lbs of ice will take up 1 gallon of volume. If the water is room temperature when you put it in( like those 5 gallon containers you re- fill at the store) then you will need approximately 12 lbs of ice just to even get it cold( with all the ice now melted and none leftover). So I ’ d recommend pairing 24 lbs of ice with 3 gallons of room temperature water. That should leave you with roughly 4. 5 gallons of ice cold water and 12 lbs of ice to make sure it stays cold.

I got this one because I am worry having the parts that I put my mouth on exposed to the outside environment. I considered the quencher flip straw, but the top of the straw is still exposed when folded down. I also worry about mold gathering in the crevices. This one was a no brainer for me, especially because you can put hot or cold drinks in this one. it's also easy to wash! I definitely recommend this one.

I already had a Stanley 24 ounce Quick Flip Go Water Bottle in another color. When I saw a yellow one I had to buy it. I use this bottle for my hot beverage every morning. It's the right size( 24 oz.) for me and keeps my beverage hot for several hours. The water bottle is also durable. [ I bought a few different sizes to use for my bikepacking set up, I appreciate the multiple lashing points, it makes it much easier to strap onto my bike. Have used them for a few rides and so far they ’ ve held up wonderfully. We originally were considering Gecko's drawstring style dry bag, but decided this bag looked like better quality level for our needs. This bag was exactly what we needed. We took it on a river float trip, and it was perfect. The lower half was submerged for nearly the entire 3 hours and everything stayed dry. It held our sunscreen, t- shirts, hats, keys, etc with plenty of room. We did put phones and keys in ziplocks just in case, since it was our first time using it and wanted to make sure we were closing it correctly. The strap made carrying and tying down to the tube easy. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing is to make sure you roll down the top enough to ensure a good seal. It says on the bag to roll `` at least 3 times '' but I would recommend rolling basically until you reach the top of your contents.

I had purchased one of the limited editions a few years back for the Parks for All partnership I got the Hawaiian Volcanoes 32 oz flask and was super satisfied. I began looking around for a new canteen for my new job that will be outdoors in the Texas elements. I decided to come back for another Hydro Flask for work and got one of the larger canteens the 64 oz in black with the flex straw. I have already been using it for a few months and I am satisfied again with Hydro Flask. For a 64oz it's very light weight, i personally noticed it kept my iced water colder a little longer than 24 hours, and durable I have accidentally dropped it, banged it and scuffed it and its still holding up. I also enjoy the fact the products are very easy to dissemble and clean. BTW I totally recommend at max a weekly cleaning and not just for Hydro Flask but for any other product to prevent build up of gunk and mildew. But overall the canteen is a great buy, and now that summer is around the corner I am excited to have a container filled with water for my work day. Hydrate Hydrate HYDRATE!!!!! lol.
