I bought a SUP and I drive a veloster and do not have a roof rack. I used this on my bare roof and traveled about 25 miles with speeds up to 60mph. It is easy to install only took minutes. I wasnt even able to center the SUP on top of my veloster because of the antenna in the middle of the roof of my veloster and it still held my board in place.

I read some negative reviews about the SUP Taxi on this site while researching before I bought, and I ’ m very surprised that so many people struggled with using it. It ’s easy to setup and secure my two SUPs. The directions were helpful but the YouTube videos from Rack Attack are what convinced me. I drove up and bought it from Tack Attack Boston. It took me about 20 minutes to install and takes me about a minute to secure my two 11- foot SUPs. I highly recommend this product. Don ’ t believe the negative reviews.

Bought this a week ago and used to transport a kayak purchased 92 miles away. Easy installation and the kayak was secure, did n't move all the way home. Highly recommended for a kayak. I drive a Nissan Altima so this works well for a 4 door sedan.

We have used this rack for 2 trips. It does not lock, but is east to remove from the crossbar to be stowed inside the vehicle while we were camping. The rack is compact so that we were ae to carry a kayak and a canoe on our trips. After a 5 hour car ride, the vessels were still secure and stable. Excellent product.

Nice quality, this mounted perfectly on Toyota OEM crossbars as the bracket is about 4 '' wide. I suggest putting the straps on the rack 1 kayak at a time and start with loading the side of the vehicle with the rack farthest away( if not centered) as it is easy to get them tangled and bunched over each other. Also, if you have an SUV you will be hopeless putting on 2 kayaks by yourself if you are under 6' tall. I bought my rack second hand( used once) from a shorter person with a big SUV.

We have used the Thule Compass many times and we love it. The only issue is that it does take a while to load and secure boats. Not a huge deal and should get better with practice.
