[ Taken out twice so far with my Oru Kayak Bay model. I did pinch myself( and that turned into a nasty blood blister) when putting the paddle together the first time- because it is so much easier to connect/glide than my Werner paddle board paddle. Works as expected. I like that it breaks down into 4 smaller pieces for easy transport. It's light weight and floats.

Love this boat. I am always happiest when I have a boat in my car, but my Break- apart takes up the whole back of the car and inflatables are cumbersome and difficult to dry. The Oru is perfect. My only problem was I didn ’ t understand how much strength it took to unfold and fold it( I am a small woman in my 70s). So I learned to use my foot and body weight. But I love it. Thank you.

My wife and I got kayaks for early Christmas presents so after looking online and checking reviews I bought two of these paddles. They are excellent quality and take up little space in the back of my subaru forester when the paddles are taken apart. Only negative thing I can say is I wish they were a little longer. Our kayaks are sit in and fairly wide, if you have similar kayaks you will want a longer paddle.

ChefMommie
I purchased this as a gift for my teenage son. He enjoys playing table tennis with his dad and friends, but does n't play competitively or anything like that. I asked him to review it, this is what he had to say- compared to a `` regular '' paddle, it has a lot more grip so you do n't have to flick your wrist too much to produce spin and you do n't have to swing as hard to produce more speed. He wanted to rate it 4 1/2 stars, so I rounded up. He thought the price tag was steep, but we had nothing to compare it to, so we are unsure if the price is commiserate with the quality of the paddle.

I love my Vesper Control, everything is great about this paddle especially the handles. Do n't change the handles. One thing the Wilson should change is the face is smaller than most other paddles, if they just made it a little truer( face size) to other paddles it would be perfect. True players who actually give this paddle a chance will see that Wilson is ahead of the game.

I bought this paddle along with another during the on- site sale. This is a solid paddle. Its a stiff paddle meaning you can do a lot less with the same result as another. The grit spread is great alongside the fact it has a bottle opener. While it's a great paddle, it's not what I was looking for. I have enough power already so using this paddle I was overhitting a lot. It's some serious pop. I do love the stiffness as volleying and blocking at the net are so easy but since I was looking for feel I could n't hit all the angles I wanted to without missing wide or long. Still, it's a great paddle and if you 're looking for more power and pop as well as stability at the net this paddle is for you.

I am really enjoying this new racket. I was totally confused about getting my second pickleball racket and I think I made the right choice. I have a long history of tennis as my background, but pickleball is n't too far off to carry over a lot of the techniques. This new racket is allowing me to hit some crazy good spin now and keep better control of my shots. It is also lighter than my prior racket, so I think that is helping alleviate some of my newer tennis elbow aches popping up from this fun sport. I highly recommend this racket for just about all levels of player.

This paddle gives me much more control than the first pickle ball paddle I owned. The middle- size grip on this one fits my hand much better than the smaller grip on the older one. This paddle is a valuable improvement that I plan to use a lot more as I gain experience in the game.

Bought the paddle a few weeks ago and it has improved my game. Tried all the paddles for grip, weight, and extension when shopping and this paddle was the winner. I ’ m an intermediate player. Still learning so this paddle is perfect. I have large hands for a woman and needed the longer grip. I ’ m happy with this purchase!

Comfortable, smooth, we ’ ll- made. ... What more can be said than it's a well made paddle that hits the ball over the net. ... You can tell its very durable. ... Unreal the amount of English spin I can put on the ping pong ball, makes top spin easy to accomplish and keep it on the table at high...

This paddle has completely changed the ping pong world in my house. My kids started to get close to being competitive with me and after getting this paddle, I 'm dominating them again. I do n't care if they 're 10, you step up to the table, it's on. The only problem is that I 'm having to purchase more balls because the spin I 'm hitting the ball with makes the balls hard to find after I smash them.

Bought it before it was even released online, a great paddle for the price point, a good step up from a beginner paddle. Fantastic control, has a good weight and a good sweet spot, I found myself adding some lead tape on the sides for a bigger sweet spot. Expect the edges to chip a little bit

premium feel, connected feel at impact, the one piece Contruction is felt when swinging the paddle!; spin felt good, could be the new grit!? i like how fast it felt through the air( as expected from a 14mm thick paddle). the power is also good, but not excesive! so far i dont know if i like this one or the 17mm vesper better!? SHARP looking, will be an eye catcher for sure!! good job wilson.

Love this paddle. To me it doesn ’ t need weights. You do need to know how to hit the ball in the center. Also pop is real on this paddle. Had a few balls go to the moon. I would like to try the 17. Might get that next

We got a table that came with some paddles that were just the dimple rubber glued to the cheapest wood you can imagine. I hated the feel. I got this one because it had the soft, flat rubber but it was n't as expensive as some of the others. It does the job. The feel is good. I 'm not a good enough player to take advantage or notice anything more advanced than this.

A well-designed paddle handle can enhance grip and control during play, allowing for better maneuverability and precision. Features such as ergonomic shapes and textured surfaces can reduce slippage and improve comfort, especially during long matches. Additionally, the right handle can help absorb shock, minimizing strain on the wrist and arm.
The length of a paddle handle can significantly influence your reach and swing mechanics. Longer handles typically provide more leverage, which can enhance power and control for certain shots. Conversely, shorter handles may offer increased maneuverability and quicker reactions, making them suitable for players who prefer a more agile style of play.
Paddle handles are often made from materials like wood, composite, or plastic, each offering different benefits. Wooden handles tend to provide a traditional feel and good shock absorption, while composite materials can offer a lighter weight and increased durability. The choice of material can affect grip, comfort, and overall performance during play.
Yes, paddle handle designs can vary to accommodate different playing styles. For example, players who favor power may prefer thicker, more robust handles for better grip and control, while those who focus on finesse might choose slimmer handles for agility. Understanding your playing style can help you select a handle that enhances your performance on the court.
When selecting a paddle handle for outdoor versus indoor play, consider factors like grip texture and material durability. Outdoor paddles may benefit from weather-resistant materials and a grip that performs well in varying conditions. In contrast, indoor paddles can prioritize lightweight designs and comfort for extended play in controlled environments.
