I 'm a aging tennis player who, let's be honest, can only handle pickleball now. This paddle is excellent( in my opinion) for anyone who's coming from the tennis side of things and finds the airflow around the traditional pickleball paddle shape to be odd. In addition, the shape is better for those tennis players who are using to having some bulk on the edges. It's really all about shape and airflow and this paddle kills it in those regards. The sweetspot is n't as strong as the Hyperion or other Ben John's style paddles, for sure, but this is more comfortable for me. Bit pricey, but success ai n't cheap.

Lotto Ultimo Pro 16mm Pickleball Paddle is the real deal. I was amazed how light this paddle was, when I first got it. The handle is longer than my other paddles, which was good. The ball doesn ’ t jump off the paddle as much compared to my other paddle, so I like it for dink or short shots. When it was time to smash the ball, I liked using it because of the longer handle. I also liked how I could put spin on the ball with this paddle.

It ’s also a perfect size for my smaller hand. Because the paddle is a tad rougher, it makes for a great top/back spin. The core density provides a solid hit.

I started out with an inexpensive paddle, but once I started playing more and learning more about the paddles I wanted to upgrade. I have been playing pickleball for about 10 months. I started with a decent SLK beginner paddle which was fine but I was ready to step up my game. I did a huge amount of research and finally settled on the Selkirk Vanguard Pro Invikta paddle. I have been using the Evoke Premier Pro Raw Carbon Pickleball for rec play as well as tournament play. The paddles plays very nicely. You know what's fun? Being different. One of my favorite things about this paddle is that it's different. Every other paddle is predictably carbon fiber and all seem to be chasing the latest fad in paddle technology. They 're all innovating, sure, but in such a narrow space that they all start to seem kind of... the same. Revolin paddles have always provided a great value and performed well among their competitors. I appreciate that they 've been able to do it with more sustainable materials- both because sustainable is good and also because it just seems more innovative than doing what everyone else is doing. They are definitely one of the brands that seems they could make big waves in the industry. So, all that to say I like this paddle because I feel different playing with it. Something about holding volcanic rock in your hands is just... cool! It performs on par with the other paddles on the court but the feeling it brings me is unique and different. It just so happens my game is unique and different too so it's a good match:)

I am really enjoying this new racket. I was totally confused about getting my second pickleball racket and I think I made the right choice. I have a long history of tennis as my background, but pickleball is n't too far off to carry over a lot of the techniques. This new racket is allowing me to hit some crazy good spin now and keep better control of my shots. It is also lighter than my prior racket, so I think that is helping alleviate some of my newer tennis elbow aches popping up from this fun sport. I highly recommend this racket for just about all levels of player.

I purchased this as a gift for my teenage son. He enjoys playing table tennis with his dad and friends, but does n't play competitively or anything like that. I asked him to review it, this is what he had to say- compared to a `` regular '' paddle, it has a lot more grip so you do n't have to flick your wrist too much to produce spin and you do n't have to swing as hard to produce more speed. He wanted to rate it 4 1/2 stars, so I rounded up. He thought the price tag was steep, but we had nothing to compare it to, so we are unsure if the price is commiserate with the quality of the paddle.

I was able to purchase the Aura Pro through their beta testing program and have been playing with it as my primary paddle for 2 months now. This thing is a truly great paddle. The power is top tier. Best paddle I ’ ve ever had. Have played with the Perseus since its inception and I ’ ll never use another paddle. Wasn ’ t a fan of the PRO IV Perseus, it was a bit too powerful for me, but the pro V was the perfect combination of control and power.

Now 3 weeks in, I ’ m noticing the responsiveness of the V5 14mm Perseus Pro and the dialed in control. I feel like I ’ m hitting my spots more often with the V5 and I was loving my Pro V4s. Playing with Joola over the past 2 years gives me the confidence of knowing and feeling that I ’ m in control of my shots.

I bought this paddle along with another during the on- site sale. This is a solid paddle. Its a stiff paddle meaning you can do a lot less with the same result as another. The grit spread is great alongside the fact it has a bottle opener. While it's a great paddle, it's not what I was looking for. I have enough power already so using this paddle I was overhitting a lot. It's some serious pop. I do love the stiffness as volleying and blocking at the net are so easy but since I was looking for feel I could n't hit all the angles I wanted to without missing wide or long. Still, it's a great paddle and if you 're looking for more power and pop as well as stability at the net this paddle is for you.

I purchased the Monarch Pickle ball paddle for my wife ’s birthday. She had recently picked up pickle ball and had a standard racket but wanted to upgrade to a premium paddle. The Monarch had all the specs I was looking for. My wife enjoys the paddle and how her game has improved to the lightweight and handle of the paddle. Prices reasonably the paddle is a recommended buy.

I ’ ve been testing out the Hype X Pro for a few days, and the first thing I noticed was the spin — it's insane. The raw carbon fiber face really grips the ball, giving me way more control on topspin drives and sharp angles. The elongated shape gives it great reach at the net and on wide returns, which has already saved me a few points. It still feels solid and responsive, and the power is definitely there when you need it. If you like to shape your shots and cover more court, this one delivers big.

This paddle has great balance between power and touch. I was previously using the Premier Raw Carbon 14 and really liked that paddle. But once I started using the Hype X Pro more and more, I felt it gave me a lot more touch at the net but provided me with solid baseline power. It also felt nicer having the extended handle for the two- hand backhand. It's my new paddle of choice for sure!

I just decided to get this paddle after hearing some good feedback from others, and I ’ m blown away. The core gives such a satisfying bounce, it ’s super responsive. The paddle design looks clean and feels super solid.

I needed an upgrade from my Z5 paddle and this seemed like the next logical step since I wanted to upgrade to raw carbon. Let me tell you this was a heck of an upgrade. This paddle feels like a lot of the Pro paddles that I ’ ve played with and for less than half the cost. In terms of playability this paddle has a longer feel to it giving you more reach without sacrificing the sweet spot. Overall highly recommend this paddle for both beginner/intermediate players and even more advanced players that don ’ t want to spend pro paddle money.

Played PPA Scottsdale with 10mm. Played Florida PPA with 12mm. Also play tested the 14mm. WOW!!!! loved all three. Lots of power, additional spin. 14mm has insane feel and control. My style is very defensive so I settled on the 12mm to give me that additional power and add punch to my game. Great job Onix

I have been using the Evoke Premier Pro Raw Carbon Pickleball for rec play as well as tournament play. The paddles plays very nicely. It has a very large sweet spot and has the raw carbon face which allows you to add an enormous amount of spin to the ball. It comes in 4 different widths, so you can pick the exact type of power/touch you are looking for.

Recently got this paddle and immediately played in a tournament with it. It changed my game! The power I was able to generate off my drives, the zip my ball had off it in fast hands rallies, and the control I had with it make it a great paddle. Looking forward to playing with it more!

This paddle is a homerun for ONIX. I am an employee at ONIX Pickleball and have had the opportunity to play with a large variety of paddles from all across the pickleball market. The 16mm Max Control Raw Carbon has become BY FAR my favorite paddle. I have more control at the net than ever before without having to sacrifice any power. The sweet spot on this paddle is huge, which gives me much more confidence to be aggressive and take advantage of my opponents mistakes.

Right out of the box the 12mm felt light and has strong power. My shots were rocketing low and deep. The light feel enabled drops to land softly in the kitchen. The extra grip helped spinning shots dart off line.

When selecting a pro paddle, consider factors such as weight, grip size, and material. A lightweight paddle can enhance maneuverability, while a comfortable grip ensures better control during play. Additionally, the paddle's surface texture can affect ball spin and speed, so look for options that suit your playing style.
Pro paddles are typically made from a combination of materials including composite, wood, and polymer. Composite paddles often provide a good balance of power and control, while wood paddles are known for their durability. Polymer cores are popular for their lightweight nature and ability to absorb shock.
Choosing the right size and weight for a pro paddle depends on your playing style and personal preference. Lighter paddles are easier to handle for quick reactions, while heavier paddles can offer more power. It's also important to consider the paddle's dimensions; a larger surface area can provide a bigger sweet spot, which is beneficial for beginners.
Pro paddles cater to various playing styles, including aggressive, defensive, and all-around play. Players who prefer a fast-paced game may benefit from a lightweight paddle for quick shots, while those who focus on control might opt for a heavier option that offers stability. Understanding your style will help you choose the right paddle.
While pro paddles are designed for advanced players, beginners can also benefit from using them as they provide better performance and control. However, it's essential for beginners to select a paddle that is not too heavy and has a comfortable grip to facilitate learning. As skills improve, transitioning to a pro paddle can enhance gameplay.
