I have a 2 block walk from my train station so I put the vest heat on before I get off the train and when I hit the street, it is nice and warm and you can feel the heat on the front and back inside the winter jacket. I 've only used it so far riding in 50 degree weather but it was warm enough I had to turn it down or off. I usually wear a large but wanted it to fit tighter so I got a medium. The medium fits great. I would say the medium fits me perfect where normally I would wear a large t- shirt or long sleeve. Not too tight but not loose. The fit is a little off, I ’ m 6 ’ 0 ” about 250 in got the 3xl thinking I ’ d be able to wear a sweatshirt under it if needed but it would never fit. the sleeves are on the tighter side. It arrived earlier than expected and was exactly what I ordered. The size was perfect because of the easy to use size chart they supplied on “ The gerbing ” site. The heated jacket is great! We started it on the high setting until it got warm then we were able to lower the temperature using the battery to maintain and comfort level without getting too hot of too cold. Great product!
