Battery lasts all day on the slopes. I ’ ve only had them on low and that ’s just enough to keep feeling in my toes on cold days. Went out with these the first time when it was- 20F wind chill and I was able to ski the entire day and not even think about cold toes. I 've always had issues with cold hands while skiing. My best pair are the 3 finger Hestra glove which until i bought these, were my go to warm gloves. Even with the Hestra gloves, my fingers would get cold below 15°. Recently we were planning a ski trip and the forcast temps were to be a high of 0° and i knew my other gloves would not be sufficient, so i decided to purchase the Action heat gloves. I was very happy, with the sub 0° temps, my hands stayed warm. With those temps, I did keep them on the high setting knowing that I had also purchased a 2nd set of batteries which I 'm glad i did.
