I bought this during Covid after the gyms all closed. It's been great. I do n't power lift or use a lot of weight, but for the average person who's not going to lift more than 250- 300 pounds this is a good set up. It was easy to assemble and is plenty strong. I 'm 6- 3 and the pull up bar works great, even with an 8 ft ceiling. It came with a few scratches from being shipped, but they were minor, it's a weight bench so who cares. It's held up very well, a great value for the money.

Since I live locally, I was able to just drive up and pick it up myself. The build took me about 2 hours and overall it is high quality and very sturdy. It does n't wobble when I lift or do pull- ups and the optional Lat Pulldown attachment I ordered works great. My one gripe would be the. 8 inch holes that are drilled into the 2X2 tubing. Most standard accessories use 1 inch holes, so I 'll have to wait for Sunny Fitness to release additional attachments( dip bars, landmine, etc.) in the future in order to get more out of the product. _x000D_ _x000D_ Still, it's a great piece of equipment for the price.

What an unbelievable value. This rack is rated for 1000 lbs, has good space and feels very stable. The 1000 lbs capacity is more than plenty. I can work up to 400 lb deadlift, 280 squat, 220 bench press without any issues. I purchased the lat pull down attachment and have been very satisfied.

I spent HOURS looking for a combination weight rack that would hold Olympic plates and dumbbells. This one holds both as well as kettlebells, weighted balls, and the barbells. My pro half rack was delivered about a week ago, and after about 45 minutes to an hour it was set up and ready to go. Quick set up for the most part as long as you have an extra person reading directions and helping you with stabilizing, it should be a fairly easy set up for anyone. Two 17 mm wrenches was all I needed. I 'm happy with the amount of space that it takes up in our garage, as we are in a place at this point where we need that space saved. Though it is a personal preference, I would like to have 1 or 2 more pegs for weights, however the ones that they do have the 3 on each side or very strong and very stable.

Here are my pros/ cons:- heavy guage steel... should hold up very well- well thought out pull bar options/adjustments- very good fit and finish overall Cons:- I thought the assembly instructions were slightly confusing.- Spotter arms( 18 '') are a bit shorter than what I hoped for and I 'm not sure how well they will work for squat- the red Ethos cross brace is perfect for banging your head on during assembly or if moving into position to spot someone. I solved this by sticking a piece of foam pipe insulation on the lower edge of each brace- there was a very slight bit of surface rust on one part... Will have to sand and repaint at some point.- would be nice if the TRX style straps had a length adjustment lever- one of the weight storage pegs seems a bit too large and weights do n't slide on or off very easily- would be nice if it had 3 weight storage pegs per side Other:- took about 2 hours to assemble, by myself. Would be a bit easier if someone was there to hold the uprights during assembly- front vs rear uprights look nearly identical so look for bolt holes for the weight storage pegs to distinguish the front from rear uprights- when assembling the instructions say to first `` finger tighten '' bolts, but it will be easier to wrench them down most of the way, leaving a slight bit of wiggle room, then tightening everything down fully at the end- I added some additional plate storage pegs I bought from Amazon- made in China

I was questioning whether to buy this based on the lack of reviews, but decided someone has to be the first to buy and make a real review( instead of just complaining about shipping, just do store pickup wacko) Anyways, this thing was pretty straight forward with assembly. I tested squatting on it, not a ton, about 300lbs and even dropped it onto the spotting bars. It took it like a champ when I re racked and also dropped weight on the bars. It was n't shaky or rocking, even when I do n't have it bolted to the floor( which it does come with bolts for that). The spotting bars are very thick and sturdy as well. The only thing I could complain about is the bench has a little wobble, but it's minimal and does n't wobble while I am sitting, or laying on it. Overall I 'd say it's definitely worth purchasing if you are not sure.
